IIIT Surat Placements

As per the IIIT Surat placements 2024, 50 placements were recorded for the B.Tech course. IIIT Surat highest package for the CSE branch was Rs 64.00 lakhs per annum and Rs 24 lakhs per annum for the ECE branch. Moreover, the IIIT Surat CSE average package was Rs 12.92 lakhs per annum and Rs 9.87 lakhs per annum was the IIIT ECE average package.

The placement cell of IIIT Surat guides students in making career-related decisions. Prospective and past employers of the corporate field are invited by the Training and Placement Cell of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Surat to conduct campus recruitments. Internship opportunities are also given to the students to gain exposure to the corporate world. The IIIT Surat placement process has several rounds such as registration for participation in the recruitment drive, written test, GD, and PI.

STEP 1

Registration for placement: Candidates interested in participating in the placement drive are invited to register for participating in the IIIT Surat placement drive.

STEP 2

Shortlisting of registered candidates: Based on the academic requirements as demanded by the companies known as pre-hiring demands such as minimum percentage, etc, candidates are shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates are eligible to attend the pre-placement talk conducted by the recruiters.

STEP 3

Pre-Placement Talk: Companies visiting the campus to conduct the IIIT placement process, first delivers a pre-placement talk for the students to make them aware of the basic policies followed by the company and give an insight into the company. The pre-placement talk is a two-way communication where students and recruiters interact with each other.

STEP 4

Various Tests conducted by Recruiters: After the pre-placement talk to judge the Quantitative aptitude, Logical ability, English competency, Domain knowledge, and Suitability towards specific skill-sets of the potential students, these tests are taken and candidates qualifying for the test further proceed with the IIIT Surat placement process.

STEP 5

Group Discussion: Students clearing the test will further have to participate in Group Discussion which may be on any topic, it can be a social, political, business-related topic, etc. Candidates have to voice their opinions, present their thoughts in front of the interviewers and showcase their oratory skills.

STEP 6

Interview: Candidates have to qualify for the interview taken by the companies. Interviews namely Technical Interview, HR Interview, etc are some of the interviews taken to judge the personality of the potential candidate.

STEP 7

Making the Job Offer: If the candidate is successful in qualifying for all the tests and interviews conducted by the recruiters, they are offered jobs based on their calibre and potential and hence the selected students are successful in securing their future and getting their dream job.

IIIT Surat was established in 2017 and its 1st batch is not yet placed.It is about to be placed in 2021.But I can assure the seniors are very talented and will definitely get placed well. We have a placement cell of our own.Companies from SVNIT also come to hire IIITians.

I am obc female candidate. In Jee Mains exam 2022, I got 94.24 percentile and obc rank of 14,302. Can I get IIIT Surat CSE branch?

Dear aspirant hope you are doing well. It's difficult to predict because cut keep changing every year depends on various factors like no of seat available , difficulty level of exam and noo of student appear in exam.

As you secured 14,302 obc rank in jee mains. Your percentile is 94.24 . No, the chance of getting IIIT Surat is less as closing rank for obc category in IIIT SURAT is 9713 for Electronics and Communication Engineering . And closing rank for obc category in IIIT SURAT is 7214 for computer science Engineering.

can i get CSE OR ECE in iiit surat at 96.03 percentile

If we have a look at the cut-offs for Indian Institute of Information Technology, Surat for 2021, then the ranks at which the branches close are as follows:

Computer Science and Engineering: 21,541
Electronics and Communication Engineering: 27,087

According to this it might be difficult for you to get admission in IIIT Surat, however you may get these in the Special or CSAB rounds.
