Hello STudent
Every above average institute for JEE mains and JEE advanced and for Neet will be sufficient for the preparation for admission of Indian Institute of Science education and research courses and National Institute of Science education and research courses.
Gate 10 years back previous question papers of JEE mains and practices thoroughly a NEET for (bio) . Practice only mainly JEE mains question papers and 41 years books from different publishers and last year's IAT papers if available. This will be sufficient for your preparation to take admission in IISER and Niser courses.
Hope this helps.
Hey,
IISERs consider KVPY and JEE score, but not NEET. IISER also gives admission to students on the basis of its own aptitude test for science stream students who pass class 12 with marks equal or above the cut off percentage. If your concepts are strong, then it will be easy for you to clear the IISER aptitude test.
You can also take admission in IISER through SCB Channel (Percentage in State and Central Boards). Students who are appearing or have passed (10+2) level with science stream with marks equal or above the cut off percentage in their respective boards are eligible to apply.
Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IAT (IISER Aptitude Test) which will be conducted at various centres across the country.
If you are interested to do research in basic sciences, then obviously IISERs are the best option in India. IISERs were made for the purpose of doing research after all the IITs(except one or two) failed in doing good research in basic sciences. IISERS are doing a great jobs so far it's inception. If you see the latest Nature index ranking 2020, IISERs have done well than most of the IITs. IISER Kolkata, Pune, Bhopal all there in the top 10 institutions in India in Nature index ranking 2020, with IISER Kolkata leading them all at Number 5.
Academia (Research): After doing a PhD, post your BS-MS course, you can join any CSIR labs or University or research lab as a staff scientist or principal investigator. Academia (Teaching): The IISER graduates can take up a teaching job in any school/University after qualifying the requisite exams like UPSC.
I hope this helps

B.SC Microbiology has its own scope in itself. If you did not make into IISERs, it does not mean that there is no other good colleges which offers exposure in this are. IISER is definitely a good choice, but, you also need to not that, not all students that study in IISER get successful, and also, not all students that are not a part of IISER, are unsuccessful. It will all depend, how much knowledge, clarity you got in your subjects after studying the course. After B.SC Microbiology, you can get into many virology labs, agriculture, chemical and many more industrial area. They do not accept only IISER Students but candidates who have knowledge, confidence in their area are selected.

Hello Student
You have to practice last 10 years JEE mains and advanced question paper and IAT solved question papers. Most of the IISER questions is same to the JEE main and advanced questions and there is no PCM questions at all which one find in the JEE advanced examination for IIT. You have to buy 41 years pyq books chapter wise. So there is no need to join any institution.Only to practice the above-mentioned books and questions to get a good result in IISER .
Hope this helps.
Hello aspirant,
Indian Institute of Science Education & Research administers admission through various channels - JEE, SCB and KVPY. The authorities administer IISER aptitude test for admission by SCB channel while KVPY and JEE Advanced qualified applicants will not be required to appear for the exam. For fulfilling eligibility for SCB, candidates have to pass 10+2 level with science stream and should qualify the cut off marks which are announced by the concerned authority. So first candidates aspiring for IISER must check the eligibility criteria specified by the concerned authorities.
Hope this helps,

Hello,
IISER's are the premiere group of research institute in our country. The preference order is as follows
The admission is through KVPY and Jee advanced score. Also a screening test is also conducted by iiser separately.
IISER pune is best option as it is the best IISER. It is huge when compared to other institute. There are lots of pros for all these institute. You will be safe inside the campus as it is isolated amidst peaceful natural environment.IISER's are kind of IIT's for science students. IT will make you equipped with research oriented skills, science development etc. Also they have good placement rates.
As a negative side, one have to pursue higher studies as it is a research oriented field. But they provide you a great exposure to the world and the reputation in international domain is really high.
You can go through the link if needed.
