Hello student as per eligibility criteria Candidates must passed class 12 or equivalent examination with science stream from a recognized board in 2020 or 2021 to apply for admission in IISER 2021.

If you've passed class 12 in 2020 and take admission in BSc in 2020 then yes you're eligible to apply for admission.

Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through following three  exams Jee KVYP and SCB.

Eligibility criteria for admission is as follows:

Education Qualification:

• You must have a degree in one of these.

1. MSc Integrated BS-M
2. BS-4 Year
3. BE/B-Tech
4. B-Pharma
5. MBBS
6. Or an Equivalent Degree.

• For General and OBC Candidates - 55% Marks
• For ST/SC/PWD Candidates - 50% Marks are required.

Life Sciences - Aspirant must have pursued academic qualification in Life Science on any other related subject only.

• To apply for JRF, candidates should be maximum 28 years in age as on December 1, 2019
• There is no upper age limit to apply for the post of lectureship.

There is no cutoff such thing to get admission in IISER because they do not releases their cutoffs. But for idea if you belongs to general category and if you score above 100 then you will definitely get IISER.Also you have to clear cutoff of 10 +2 board exam marks(in your case  kerela which has 93.1%).

total marks in scb test is 180. Per subject there will be 15 questions, in total there will be 60 questions

Eligibility criteria for IISER 2021:

1. .Qualification: Applying candidates must qualify 10th & 12th level examination from any recognized board or university in year 2020 or 2021 to be eligible.
2. Marks: Candidates marks must be equivalent or above the cut off percentage marks of respective exam.
3. Relaxation: 5 % of relaxation will be given to reserved (SC/ ST) category candidates.

According to previous years 75 percentage ( in general category) is essential for IISER eligibility. 92.1 percentage is merely a great mark for eligibility . Hoping for the best.

After qualifying KVPY examination, candidates need to go through a common application process for admission into IISER. No admission offer is made as such for IISERs. Candidates need to apply though application process for admission into the respective course in any of the IISERs.

To pursue dual degree in IISER Thiruvananthapuram, admission process is as follows:

• KVPY channel: Candidates having a valid KVPY fellowship commencing for current academic session are eligible to apply for admission
• JEE Advanced channel: Candidates belonging to General category securing a rank within 10,000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced are eligible to apply. For OBC-NC/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates, their category rank should lie within 10,000
• SCB channel: Students who have passed Class 12 in Science stream are eligible to apply for admissions by appearing for IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), conducted jointly by all seven IISERs. However, they will be considered for admission to the programme only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board

I dont think you will be able to pursue a course in Entomology from any of the IISER but I think you can pursue it by studying biology and taking it as a specialisation or topic of research.

This can be a way out.

For IPhD in IISER you should have 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks in your bachelors. Now mainly the students are shortlisted on the basis of JEST and JAM ranks (as per the official website of IISER PUNE). Its specified that the rank of the student must be better than 500 in JAM or JEST.

the payment failed and the money was already debited, this money in transit will be refunded to you but it will take time, a couple days at most Do not wait for the refund and make another payment if you can because as far as the IISER portal is concerned, your transaction failed and they have yet to receive the money to be able to generate the receipt.

There is no information regarding the sixth round of counselling for admission in IISR through State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel. The Fifth special round has not yet ended and will end at 11:55 P.M tonight.  This round is for postponed special round candidates( dated 23-26, Nov 2020) and for the candidates who float from the previous rounds.
