Hi Crazy,
First of all congratulations for your good score.
According to your expected score you can get admission in any IISER you want. We can also see decrease in cut off this year due to increase in a little bit difficulty of exam and increase in the percentage of seats offered on basis of IAT. So, don't worry you are safe you can easily get admission in any IISER you like.
Good Luck!
Hi Suhana Azad,
So according to your expected score there are high chances of you in getting admission in IISER and in which IISER it depends on the cutoff and your actual marks.
This year we can expect a decrease in cutoff due to two reasons:-
1. Slightly increase in difficulty level of exam (from student's review of exam)
2. This year 75% of seats shall be alloted via the IISERAT this year, rather than just 5o%
So, there are good chances of you to get admission in IISER Bhopal, Mohali but a little bit difficult chance of Pune and Kolkata but still all these are expectation let's wait for the first 1-2 rounds after that image will be clear.
Good luck!
Hi Arnab,
According to your expected marks there are very good chances of you to get admission in any IISER as students this time was also complaining that paper was a little bit difficult so we can expect a 10-15 marks low cut off this year and still if cutoff doesn't decrease then also you have high chances of getting admission in IISER Bhopal, IISER Mohali. Pune and Kolkata can be a little bit difficult but this time the no of students who will get admission from SCB channel has been increased to 75% so there are chances that you can get admission in IISER Pune and Kolkata as well. In first round it might be somewhat difficult but in subsequent rounds there are high chances.
All the best!
Hey Jhagan
IISER Pune has a cutoff of around 105 to 11o for general category but the rest of the IISERs have a closing rank somewhat around 75 to 80. Due to the corona virus nd lockdown the cutoffs are expected to vary but no one can say for sure whether it will decrease or increase. IISER does not release any cutoff but only tells the applicant whether he is selected or not hence it is impossible to predict anything at this stage.
All that being said I think your score is enough for your category to get you a seat at IISER Thirupati but you will have to stick till the end. All the best!
Hey Swarnendu
The cutoff for IISER via IAT for general category is around 100 to 105 but the cutoff may vary. Sometimes in the last rounds (depending on luck) the cutoff can go down to 80 (rare occasion but possible). However no official statement is released as to the cutoff from IISER, you will only be told if you are selected or not. My only advice to you is not to loose hope and stay in the game till the end.

Hello Aspirant, considering your percentile, score and your category , it is possible for you to take admission into the IISER Mohali. Since, according to their admission cutoff criteria, a person of reserved category like PWD or PD , a category rank having less than 10000 into the CRL of JEE Advanced examination is required. Your rank comes into the criteria and also your PWD category rank is also within the limit of 10000.
