Hello student,
There is an eligible criteria to qualify IAT and get admission in IISER. It is as, you must have rank with in 10,000 in common rank list if you are of general category. But if you are of any of reserved category(OBC that you have mentioned) then you must have rank within 1000 in reserved category list. Also, you must have at least 55% in 10+2 or equivalent exam.
I hope this will help you
Actually, the IISER do not post the cutoff or some sort of merit list. They just tell that whether you are in or out so it is difficult to tell the cutoff.
However, with this score, you have a good chance of getting in the IISER. Still, you have to wait till the last round as the cutoff for the IISERs is close to 70.
For more information about the IAT, its seats and cutoffs, you can go for the below link:

Bet of luck!
Your score I don't think is high enough for old IISERs even by the last round.
I suggest you try for the new IISERs or take admission in any other private college. But if you are determined to crack IAT again take a drop prepare for another year and go for it.
Do participate in the counselling sessions regardless
hello candidate
based on your jee main rank you will not get nit but you can get gfti except bit mesra ,
as far as advanced is considered the results are not out yet but you require a high rank for iisc.
but if you get a rank of 10000 to 15000 you will get rgipt and iipe .
you should definitely give iiser exam to get iisers as there are good college like iiser pune, kolkata or bhopal
all the best

Hope this helps!
Hello Vishnupriya,
If you have gotten a seat already through counselling in IISER then you do not have to fear. It is highly advised to keep original with you and at least 2 or 3 self attested copies of the documents you were told to carry for the admission procedure. Generally the document verification takes place in person. But again there might be uncertainty as IISER is a very big institution and the level of diligence it requires in every work you do matters to the people running the institution. If you are apprehended, apologise and calmly provide necessary corrections. Good luck!

Hello Sivanth
Hope you are doing well.Even though you are given cgpa you can convert them into marks/percentage through which you can know the marks you had scored. And coming to the eligibility criteria the following link helps you:

All the best.
Hello,
There is no proper cutoff given by iiser authorities anytime so we manage to get rough figures and help you all.
As per the previous years scenrerio you have great chances of getting into iiser with this marks in you category provided you are eligible for it.
The average score for obc to get into iiser should be around 60-70,and you have better score so you have better chances but there is no certainty for this as cutoff can change this year.
All the Best
Hello aspirant,
The cutoff varies every year for the entrance exam for admission in IISER. To be on the safe side one needs to score atleast 105+. You have scored 79 so you have not too much chances of getting. But little chances are always there as cutoff varies. If you have a good rank in JEE advance i.e. within 10000 then also you have a chance to get admission.
Thank you.
