Hi Keshav

Rules regarding exams and the admission keep on changing all the time, so I would suggest you to mail the official authorities regarding this.

If sending a mail does not help, you can always contact the number on their official website. Do try that.

Hope this helps

Hello Muhammed,

Yes it is compulsory to upload obc ncl certificate if you have choosed that category .Because your rank will be from this category which is obc .And also at the time of counselling you need to provide the certification to the college.Incase you do not provide or upload the certificate to the category  you belong then your rank will be considered in general rank with general cutoff. You will be not eligible for any reservation criteria.

I hope it helped

Hello!

Yes Biology is mandatory for IISER and NISER exam. But you don't have to take worry .You should score  more marks in other sections. You can also do simple questions of Biology by preparing from 11 -12 NCERT book of biology.

Hope it answer your concerns.

its depend to which board or council u belong to . so please follow the given below site ....

i hope it will help you out :)

Well though I've not given the previous year paper but being a JEE counselor and an ardent follower of JEE, I can easily say that at 90 marks you have not even a slight of hope to crack a seat at IIT. Even I guess not even 140 marks would suffice,

So I would say that don't get swayed by just qualifiying the paper, it acually won't help.

(this particular statement holds fof General and OBC category)

You need to score more than 100-110 atleast to secure a seat at the IISER.You can also get admission over there with your jee advance rank.If your jee advance rank is within 10000 you can apply. And for the exam you need to score good. The exam is not too difficult if all your concepts are clear.

Regarding your touch with maths, try to revise all the topics of class 11 and 12.You can follow some of the books like differential calculus by Amit M Agarwal and many more books of different topis of Arihant.

Best of luck.Study hard. You will definitely do well.

Hello Pooja bhandari  ,

Dear Aditya, any candidate with a valid disability has to select the option while filling the application form. Once the results have been released they are released based on the candidate's score and category he/she belongs to. And the final merit list is also prepared on the basis of same rules. Now it is too late to claim for pwd relaxation.

There are three channels of admission. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through these channels.

1- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel

2- Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel

3-State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel

No!! You can get into IISERs through jee advance.Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2018 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to reserved category (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000.

All the best
