Hello Sree Krishna,
Yes, you are eligible. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions.
Thanku.
Hello Bishal,
Yes you are eligible to apply for IISER test. The BS-MS duration is 5 years. You have 3 years studying foundation course of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and a little humanities. The last date is 6th of May so you may apply as soon as possible.
The entry to BS-MS is through JEE, KVPY and SCB (for state and central board).
For more information and queries you can visit https://www.iiseradmission.in/
In IISER, for applying through SCB channel, only Physics and Chemistry are mandatory subjects. Since the IAT aptitude test conducts the exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths with equal weightage, you need to study Mathematics too, whether or not you had Maths in class 12.
No, it is not mandatory to have maths as one of your optional subjects at plus two level for BS-MS degree programmes. However, for admission to BS degree programmes in Economics and Engineering sciences at IISER Bhopal, Mathematics as one of the subjects at +2 level is mandatory.
Hi Koesha..

Thanks
Dear Abhi,
Yes, you can apply for IIESR admission through both JEE Advanced and SCB Channel.
IISER 2019 Admission will be based on three channel- SCB (State and Central Boards Channel), KVPY exam (Kishor Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) & JEE Advanced exam. Candidates are allowed to apply for all the three channels but they must fulfil the eligibility criteria of each channel they are applying.
You must get a rank within 10,000 in Common Rank List in JEE Advanced to qualify for Interview.
The best you can do at the moment is start refering to past year question papers. Start solving them like you are taking a regular exam. Thereafter do a proper post analysis of the exam, this will help you in understanding your week points. Also make sure that you are maintaining a separate notes of these concepts that you are learning during the post analysis of the test. Do this for 7 weeks. The 8th week you can keep for just revising these concepts, you will be great to go.
Hello Benny!
NO.
If you wish to aaply through SCB channel (iiser aptitude test) you can also apply the next year of givibg boards.
For example, if you want appear for IAT 2019, you can be a student who has passed his/her 12th board exams in 2018 or 2019.
But nothing earlier than that.
IISER states the eligibility criteria for SCB channel on their official website:
Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for IAT 2019.
However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board.
Hope this helps :)
Thank you!
Dear Aspirant, please tell me from which category you are? If you are from general category then you can't apply or you have to wait if any consideration happens or not.
Hi,
It is not necessary, you can apply for IISER in low percentage even. But to get selection, you have to get 90% in boards because IISERS cut offs are pretty high.
