IIT bhilai is one of the 6 new IIT's established in the year 2016.Institute offers all the facilities ranging from academics to sports.IIT bhilai has very big campus.IIT bhilai provides many central facilities:Well equipped labs,health centre,sports facility and many more.CSE department is actually good for ambitious,hard working student.And IIT bhilai has been offering BTech program in DSAI since July 2020.It f ollows fractual curriculum which aim to focus on holistic development of the students.There are so many top recruiters visiting the campus to hire students.

See,both branches are at top level.Which branch to choose is entirely depends on your interest regarding that branch, your knowledge about that branch And also depends on for which branch you feel sure about...!!!
So start focusing on that.

According to IIT BHILAI placements statistics Highest salary offered is 20 LPA while Average salary offered is 11+ LPA and this is for whole college in all branches.Due to lack of data of different branche we can not compare on that but by considering the previous year analysis and trends Data Science and Artificial students generally got 5 to 12 lakhs package while CS students always get paid above that range according to their skills.

Both these IITs, goa and bhilai are one of the newest established IIT in India. Both the IITs have accreditation given AAA. Also, being new IITs, they are mentored or given support by other IITs .

While IIT Bhilai has collaborations with IIT Kanpur, ARM, CDAC, etc and IIT goa has collaborations with CSIR, some institution from France, Institute of Systems and computer engineering, Portugal.

Also, both the IITs have different sort of clubs like robotics club, dance, sports, developers, quiz, drama,etc.

As far as location point of view is concerned, you would have to choose, since IIT goa is in Goa while IIT Bhilai is in chattisgarh States.

According to placement drive both the colleges are same as their placement statistics are somewhat same.

IIIT Lucknow:

Highest salary offered - 28 LPA

Average salary offered - 11.37 LPA

IIT BHILAI:

Highest salary offered - 20 LPA

Average salary offered - 11+ LPA

But the sad part is that both the colleges not able to secure rank under NIRF.Although if we took infrastructure as consideraion IIIT Lucnow is better as it is opened before IIT Bhilai.

Hence my recommendation will be IIIT LUCKNOW but the end choice is your according to your priorities.

The same deliemma was there for my friend last year. In first round of JEE counselling he got Electrical at IIT Bhilai .If he had opted to float it was sure that he would get Engineering Physics at IIT Dhanbad .After much thinking he opted for floating and got engineering physics at Dhanbad. After waiting till last round he got Electronics and Instrumentation at Dhanbad. Now he never regret his decision.

He opted to go with float because ISM is 100 times better than IIT Bhilai. ISM has vast alumni network as established in 1926. In MHRD ranking it is above IIT BHU, Gandhinagar etc. Then why give IIT Bhilai a preference. And as far as branch is considered engineering physics will be one of the most sought branch in coming years.
