IIT Bhilai Placement Process

IIT Bhilai placement cell invites various recruiters and sends them all the necessary documents such as the Placement Brochure along with the invitation letter to conduct the placement drive.
Interested recruiters and employers accept the invitation for the placement drive at IIT Bhilai.
Students interested in participating in the IIT Bhilai placement drive need to register for the same and submit the required documents to the placement cell for the placement process.
Recruiters and Companies visit the campus on the specified date to deliver a pre-placement talk to make the students aware of the basic policies of the company and clear all the doubts of the students after the session.
The recruiters conduct various selection tests to recruit students such as written tests, group discussions and interviews. Students have to qualify for each of these tests to get a job offer from the recruiter.
Candidates qualifying for all the selection tests are selected and are offered jobs. The final list is provided to the placement cell by the recruiters.

Placements

Placements are good in it's very first placement session 100% registered student are placed. Many companies are coming here.100% student are placed in CSE and 88% in ee and 80% in mechanical other are going to study abroad some are started startup by choice.As such, seeing the current level of students, I can say that particularly for my branch, placements are going to rock and for others, it's good. The average package is going to be around 10 LPA.

In this semester, almost 90% of the students were placed with the highest salary package of 19 LPA and the average salary package of 10 LPA and the lowest salary package of 6 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course was Amazon. We also got placements in other IITs under other those professors who are from IITs and NITs. I don't know much about top roles offered in our course.The placement of our college is very good. every week in September and October one company come for placement of students.

kindly note the branch of your interest and pally it with the college ranking. you can switch between the ranking and branch selection as per your adaptability and preference. I think IITs are always the best premier institutes when opting for the core engineering stream.

IIT BHILAI IS A GOOD COLLEGE???

Hi Aspirant

Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai, is one of the 6 IITs which was established in the year 2016 in the state of Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. It is also known as IIT Bhilai. The college is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The campus of IIT Bhilai covers an area of 432 acres and it has a total of 45 faculty members.

Although the campus is a new one, but overall the classrooms are extremely well maintained, the faculties are really helpful, polite, qualified. The placement records are best for CSE and ECE branch while for the rest you can expect an average salary.

NIT Raipur or IIT Bhilai??????

Dear aspirant,

If you were to go by my opinion then i think you should take iit bhilai only if you get non core branches but if you are not getting non core branches then i don't think you should iit bhilai as it's newer iit.

Whereas nit Raipur is very good and renowned in terms of placements and academic achievements. Here you can take both non core and core branches. The average package of this college is 8.7L per annum.

Although iit bhilai has 10L average package but that is mainly due to its non core branches and not the core branches.
