Junagadh Agricultural University has a dedicated placement cell which is known as the Student Counseling & Placement Cell which looks after students' well-being, placement and Campus Interviews. The JAU Junagadh placement cell builds and maintains good relations with the industry, inviting Industries/ Organizations for campus interviews. 

The JAU Junagadh placement cell also organises personality development programs, inviting industry experts for visiting the campus, among other things in an attempt to assist its students in getting training and placement. The visiting companies also conduct pre-placement talks before the final round of interview. After the interviews, the list of shortlisted candidates is released. As per the JAU Junagadh NIRF 2024, 192 UG students were placed with Rs 3.90 lakhs, 88 PG (2-year) students were placed with median salary package of Rs 4.44 lakhs and 30 PG (3-year) students were placed with 7.4 lakhs.
