Have a question related to KUHS Thrissur ?

I'm a second semester B Pharma student. My college is in Kerala and under KUHS University. I would like to drop out from this course. Is it possible for me to get Transfer Certificate and my certificates back?

Hello,

Here are the steps to get a Transfer Certificate and retrieve your original certificates if you plan to discontinue your B.Pharm course at a KUHS-affiliated college in Kerala:

  1. College Policies : Verify your college’s policies on withdrawal and document retrieval. Most colleges allow withdrawal if you’re in your first or second semester.

  2. Application Submission : Write a formal request to the college administration or principal, clearly stating your intention to discontinue the course and request your certificates back.

  3. Fees Clearance : Ensure that all pending fees or dues, if any, are cleared as some colleges may require financial clearance before releasing your documents.

  4. University Guidelines : KUHS typically permits withdrawal, but each affiliated college may have its own specific requirements. Check the official college or university guidelines if necessary.

  5. Timely Follow-Up : Keep in touch with the college administration for updates. Retrieval processes may take some time, depending on administrative workflow.

Following these steps should help in retrieving your certificates efficiently.

Hope it helps !

Sir... I'm currently a second semester b pharm student in Kerala. My college is under KUHS University. I need to transfer my college. Is it possible for me? If so.. i don't think my college will give migration certificate. What can I do sir?

Hello Devika,

It is a bit challenging to transfer to another college during your course of B Pharm, especially if you are worried about an issue like a migration certificate. Here are some procedures you may follow:

  • Check Transfer Policies: The first step in this direction would be to check out the transfer policies in your current college and the one you wish to transfer into. There might be several requirements for students moving into the other college from their institution.
  • Contact Target College: Contact the college you wish to transfer to and see if they have a process for transfer students. They will be able to give you an idea of the documents required and even, if they allow mid-program acceptance.
  • Migration Certificate: If the college you are presently pursuing or attending is not willing to release a migration certificate, then explain your situation to them. If that doesn't work out, then you can contact the University (KUHS) itself and get help in migration certificate.
  • Documentation: Collect all the necessary documents including academic records, admission letters, etc. which might be required by the new college.
  • Formal Application: Draft a formal transfer application letter, stating the reasons you would like to make the transition and how this will further your academic mission.
  • Follow-Up: Once the application is submitted, keep communication open with both institutions to acquire any follow-up information regarding the procedure.

If complications are encountered, you may want to go over things more thoroughly with an academic counselor or professional who can further help you based on your individual case.

Hello Aysha,

Kuhs offers B.Sc. in Cardiovascular technology, in order to get admission in BCVT or any other B.Sc. course you need to score atleast 50% in 10 +2 examination having PCB stream and English as a language subject. The admission in KUHS for BCVT is purely based on merit basis.

Thank you

I hope this answer helps you.
