Nalanda University admissions are offered to PGD, M.Sc, MA, MBA and Ph.D programmes. Nalanda University admissions are offered in the fields like Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management and Business Administration, Sciences and others. Students wanting to take admission in the master’s programme at Nalanda University need to submit a statement of purpose. 

Some of the courses offered for Nalanda University admissions are M.Sc Ecology and Environment Studies, MA Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions, MA Historical Studies, MBA Sustainable Development and Management and Ph.D programmes. 

It is to be noted that students coming from Non-English speaking countries/medium need to appear for language proficiency tests such as TOEFL/IELTS. For Nalanda University admission to MBA Sustainable Development and Management, eligible students need to appear for CAT/XAT/MAT and obtain a minimum of 70 percentile. The final selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of a statement of purpose (SOP), self introductory note and interview.

• Visit the official website of Nalanda University. Click on ‘admissions’ listed on the menu bar.

• A drop-down list will appear, click on ‘instructions to fill the application form’. At the end of the page, there will be ‘apply now’. Click on the button and the application form will appear.

• Fill the application form and upload the documents. 

• Pay the application fee of Rs 500.

At the postgraduate level, the university offers 4 programmes and 3 postgraduate diploma courses for Nalanda University PG admissions. Courses offered for admissions are M.Sc Ecology and Environment Studies, MA Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions, MA Historical Studies, MBA Sustainable Development and Management.
