NUSRL offers a state-of-the-art, modern campus equipped with all the amenities which includes well-equipped classrooms, moot courts, library, and dedicated space for student activities required for both academic and extracurricular growth.
NUSRL provides hands on practical experience to its students, assisting them in getting internships at top law firms in India as well as collaborating with Government bodies through which students get an opportunity to learn from practical experiences.
NUSRL has a dedicated placement and internship cells to assist students in getting both internships and full time jobs. Though most of us chose to go for higher education, and government jobs. litigation.
NUSRL offers a good value for money with competitive tuition fees combined with academic and professional growth.
NUSRL gave me the best days of my life.
The college infrastructure is pretty good. The construction is dispersed over sufficient space to prevent overcrowding. The classrooms are spacious and designed in the classic manner so as to ensure each student can comfortably view the teacher and board and the teacher in turn see the students. The buildings have a eye soothing peach and orange colour that complements Ranchi's greenery to create a beautiful ambiance.
I have so far attended only online classes. The teachers are very good and give lots of efforts in properly educating the students. The duration of classes are appropriate. The students ' interests are considered and internships are provided by the college sufficiently.
It is said that the placements given by our college is not as good as some other NLUs but they are not bad either. If we can manage to score good marks consistently in our exams and create a good CV by doing good internships and participating in moot competitions etc. there is a fair chance of us landing a good job via campussing .
I personally feel that the course at NUSRL is a bit too expensive . Our travels of moot competition participations are usually not paid for and even though we have a good library and e library , as a national law university we could still do better.
Not experienced it yet, because I have only attended online classes so far. But feedback from seniors enables me to reasonably believe that campus life would be fun and educational.
I have made friends. The teachers are understanding and very knowledgeable. Punctuality is given much importance. And much effort is made to ensure a wholesome education through learning and experience im the college life.
No the college doesn't have all the necessary infrastructure we don't have a proper library, auditorium, gym etc. Classrooms are designed in a modern way but the chairs are the same as in a coaching center, we don't have proper sports equipments hostel rooms are good but not maintained WiFi doesn't work properly , frequent power cuts and lights in the bathroom are not working since god knows what time, hostel cleaner comes daily ,food is not completely hygienic dogs roam inside the mess.
I don't know much about faculty but in the 1st year it's a mix some are really good and some are not,but seniors say at later stages we may get better faculties so you can do a bit more research on this apart from my review.
The college doesn't provide placement there is a placement cell but students have rather gotten PPOs or job after the graduation on basis of internship as of today there are no quality placement by the clg. Very less percentage gets placed that's for sure seeing the condition of the campus the batch of 2020 had a student with a package of 18L but he got a ppo on the basis of his internship clg has nothing to do with it. Even after clg if you find a job you can easily get a job of 8L as of today.
It extremely poor no proper facilities, plastic chairs in the class no AC in library, apart from that the sports ground are uneven no equipments clg is far of the city and there is seriously the worst canteen I have even seen now after Nescafé opened a small coffee shop it's a little better but I will say paying around 2.3L per year I don't see the worth of it.(some extra problems WiFi doesn't work, frequent power cuts Ur complaint in hostel will be in register for years without any action.
Campus is good as Ranchi has one of the best weather in India but that's the only thing which is good, frequent powercuts may make u miserable in humid conditions the campus is 50 acres and there are no dustbins no water cooler near grounds,it's only the soothing weather that makes the campus bareable
I would still recommend this clg if you don't have a higher rank clg it still has many perks and after the new VC sir they have been working hard to bring advancement overall the areas but if u have a better clg u go there don't come hare just coz it's near your home or sth. Like that only when you can't get a better clg than this
Collega infra has everything necessary and infra is decent enough if your expectations are not that much. We have all equipment which is needed for law school. We have air conditioned lecture theatre, audio system, projector, have decent library, all sports facility required, boys and girls hostel, wifi enablee campus, they are well used and maintained too. Livings space are clean and is also taken care by students as well as cleaner staff as its top priority
I am studying ballb(hons) since i was always interested towards doing law, quality of teaching is better to say average as there are mix of teachers, some are one of the best while some are not so good. Curriculum is updated since being a national law Institute, these are checked by higher authority like esteem judges of high court, we study according to present day field requirements so we are job ready.
Quality of Placments has been below average as we lack in this aspect, mostly only top 10 of the batch gets placement and most of the students try for off campus placement,Highest salary offered is around 20 lacs/year in ballb(hons) program. Avergae salary is around 5 to 6 lacs/year. Placement cell which is mainly run by college students are supportive and they have been successful in improving placement scenario at college.
Course cost is 2.3 lakhs for first year and around 2 lakhs for next year onwards. I feel somewhere we don't get that much worth of these money from college as we lack infrastructure compared to top national law university although we are better in comparison to private law schools in terms of facilities so it is not good not bad situation.
Best thing about college is its campus life, relaxed curfew timing(10:30 pm for both gender), chilled atmosphere (ranchi weather is heaven), there are lot of activities(festival celebrations, dj events, fests, helping needy students by commect with idia) . Students are helpful, seniors are ready to help even at 2 am at night, there is mixed tyoe of teachers (some are really helpful, and some are ignorant also). Location is safe. Emergency situations are handled effectively (ambulance, doctors)
Being from national law university has its own perks, and comes up with responsibility, simple rule is that if you will study, then this college will provide ample opportunity to excel, but opportunities are for less people so we have to be on hook always to excel. College life is chill(this is trademark word of this college people).
For corporate law placements, all three institutions—NUSRL, Jindal, and Symbiosis—are well-regarded. However, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is particularly strong in corporate law, with excellent placement records in top law firms and corporations. Symbiosis Law School is also well-known, but NUSRL is emerging as a strong choice. Ultimately, JGLS and Symbiosis offer more opportunities due to their established networks and infrastructure. It would be beneficial to research each institution’s curriculum, faculty, and placement records for a more informed decision.
