It’s an amazing college you’ll not have any complaints with the infrastructure all equipment is there ,moot court room is also good ,hygienic washrooms and infrastructure ,you’ll love it for sure here
Academics is good quality of teaching is pretty good .Curriculum is Upto date ,it does make you job ready but make sure to intern a lot to learn intricacies of law so that you don’t feel lost when you join the profession
Placements are good however build your own contacts in order to secure best placements and internships though the college is quite supportive . It’s overall good and you won’t have many complaints with placement
It’s value for money moreover academics and placement are both good . Location is also good fees is same as all other nlus,I personally am having a good experience so I would recommend it for sure to anyone
Lucknow is a nice place and the college is decent too so I’ll definitely recommend it to you ,however be sure about the college otherwise you can take a drop year to get a better NLU so choose wisely
The infrastructure of this college feels like straight out of a karan johar movie. Classy and royal finesse. All the classrooms are well equipped and clean. The location of this college is so wonderful I mean in the city which makes it more convenient
The academic structure of this college is by far very promising. The curriculum is updated according to the recent changes the government has made. The professors are very strict when it comes to the quality of teaching
No placement is not there but they do make you practice like a lawyer. They prepare you for your best and worst and moot courts are conducted. Students can practice in the courts on their own during the summer holidays
Money spent for this course in this college is worth spending. No accommodation or transportation issues. Everything is available at the door step. Students here were very competitive of each other which made me more focused on my career
Anyone who is a bollywood fan or wants to go to college as seen in movies must go for it. Even one of the very famous stand up comedian nowadays was from my batch so I had the most fun there. Life was good can really complain
The infrastructure is really good. The teachers are good and provide a structured path to the students for success. It has a well maintained and well equipped Library, with all the books a student needs. Full 24*7 power back up. It's a wifi facilities all over the campus. The hostel are near and clean. With a good hygienic and tasty food. The hostel facilities are quite good for the amount of money charged by the authorities. The food served is of good quality and regular inspections.
The curriculum provided by the college has been designed in a judicious manner. It has been designed keeping in mind all the necessary academic requirements of a law student. A variety of subjects are taught to the students and after 4th year they have the opportunity to specialize in the subject of their choice.
The placement in the last few years has been a matter of concern for the students in the college. Though many people in the college do not opt for placements and rather prepare for other competitive exams or higher studies. This has been one of the reasons for low placement stats.
Yep, it's value for money. But if you have option to go for private colleges or traditional universities go for it, don't come there and waste your time and money. Rest everything is fine and good. No other problem.
The campus life in the college is really good. It has one of the best infrastructures and has a very beautiful campus. The campus is full of greenry. The gender ration in the college favours the male and are a dominant class in terms of numbers of students studying. The students are from different parts of the country.
There are various events that take place in the college. It ranges from cultural events like independence day celebration, freshers and Farwell for the 1st and 5th years to academic events like moot courts, debate, mediation competitions and various intra competitions for the students. The fee structure in the institution is very reasonable. Even the accommodation and food is worth the amount of money paid. The tuition fee paid is one of the lowest in the law colleges across the country.
Infrastructure is class apart! The classes are centrally air conditioned. The hostels are clean and tidy. The campus is quite well maintained. The library is packed with latest edition books and also there is photo copy shop inside the library .
Neither the teachers are interested in giving lectures nor the students are interested in attending the same. However, if a student wants to study on his own he gets ample time do to that. The teachers though may not teach but are considerate if you have any doubt in any subject.
There is next to zero placement. The placement committee is run solely by the students and there is no teacher to monitor. The students fetch for internships on their own and through that they enter into jobs.
Infrastructure is good. Academic area is well kept and there is centralised AC. Classroom is huge. Library is also nice. There are sweepers around the campus working day in and out to make the campus clean.
Academically, our college needs to do much more. Hire better teachers to begin with. Make curriculum more relevant. And there is a need for practical studies. Our batch didn't get to study one important subject which is a shame because it is needed in every subject one reads.
Quality of placements at our college has been and is poor. For some reason, good law firms and companies don't come which is a shame because students of our college are intelligent and hardworking since we know we dont have the 'namepower' of the top tiered colleges.
Although the lessons that we are given in class is not always at par to what we should be taught, it doesn't sting for the fee that we pay. Moreover, most of the teaching is done outside class through debates and moots.
Campus or hostel life is bomb, if you are with the right people. Be it sports or party scene, both are well taken care of. Our campus location is also apt, not too far and not too close to the main city but there is every amenity nearby.
My 5 years in college have been a breeze. But that is mainly because of the people I have been with and some that I have left along the way. My student life has taught me to be more independent and hardworking.
RMLNLU has all kinds of necessary infrastructure, equipment, and facilities. The classrooms have centered air conditioning, projectors, white/black boards. Best furniture as compared to other NLUs along with proper ventilation and cleanliness. The food available in the Hostel Mess is quite hygienic but it is almost like eating a marriage food daily in your meals. We get 3 square meals and evening snacks along with midnight paid mess during exam time.
I am pursuing B.A.LLB. (Hons.) to further my aims of corporate law and talking about the quality of teaching, it varies from professor to professor. The varsity has some exceptional professors in varied fields of law while a few sub-par assistant professors as well. The course curriculum is updated timely on the basis of recent developments in the field, the good professors also include these updated stuff in their teachings while the orthodox ones depends on the same old format and structure.
The placement from an NLU is never a doubt and in recent years it has been increasing significantly due the incline of students towards the firms. RMLNLU has always boasted itself with the help of orthodox professors who feel proud of their students clearing judicial and administrative exams. If the university administration is willing to call in more placement providers then it all depends upon their effort in this field otherwise the increase in placement opportunities will stay gradual.
The university has the minimum fee as compared to any NLU or private university. It is easily affordable even for a middle class family without any extra burden or extra expenses.
Campus life is the thing that students crave for, even after passing out. It is hard to stay away from such a crowd and such an atmosphere that heals itself. Support staff and other facilities are quite optimal if not the best. Though the entering of food chains inside the college campus is still a necessity as all the canteen and other facilities are locally administered by hired workers, either on monthly or yearly basis.
The COVID times has made me realise the worth of being in that college. It can surely and undoubtedly be the dream college of many law students throughout the country and it has the capacity of growth with new people and new opportunities coming in. It has the most secured environment for students, professors, and other staff members residing in the college campus. It is a home for all the students for at least 5 years and one of the best they could get.
RML provides the best infrastructure among all National Law Universities. The campus provides a well-equipped library, great sports facilities, air conditioned classrooms and decent hostels with 24 hr Wifi coverage.
The curriculum is regularly updated in accordance with the current developments in the field of law. However, the institution can fare a little better with an improved faculty. While some professors are well versed in their subjects, others are not.
The institution does not do much to provide placements to the students. It is the students themselves who get placed through their internships or otherwise. However, the placement cell has been working hard to get on campus placement opportunities for the students in recent years.
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University has the least course fee among all National Law Universities. The mess food is also decent and one can easily survive by eating what is served, instead of ordering food from outside.
The institution provides an amazing campus life to its students. With all sorts of recreational facilities available within 3km radius of the campus, the students need not worry about having a dull moment ever. The campus provides a safe space for its female students.
Infrastructure is one of the plus points of RML. The green environs, an Olympic size swimming pool, fantastic facilities (sports and academic) is what makes The National Law University, Lucknow so magnificent.
Since the crowd here is highly motivated and intellectual, there's an innate desire to compete and bring the best out of yourself. This is the reason why toppers of several batches achieves as high as 9.5 GPA. The teachers here are highly supportive and help us achieve bigger by setting examples from time to time.
Now placement is something which depends on ones own capabilities and hence a lot of students complain(In generally) about this without enhancing their own skills. Luckily we at RML have a very efficiently working placement cell which caters to the placement thing for the students. So if you're skilled and is willing to work then no one stop you from grabbing a jobabout.
RML is the cheapest of all the National Law Universities and trust me, studying there will be your best investment. It's more than a value for money institution.
Since I'm a first year student only so I've not quite really enjoyed campus life much. But with amazing peers and encouraging seniors, I hope it to be a dreamlike experience.
The college is one of the finest and delivers what it promises.
The best part about the University is it's infra. The more you get used to it, the more it entices you. It's one of the best across law schools and provides adequate amount of facilities for your academic and extra-curricular growth. However, there are a lot of instances when major infra is inaccessible like swimming pool, gyms etc due to administrative inefficiency and hostility. Students make the most use of infra, especially the sports and cultural enthusiasts. It is a treat to watch
Not all of the professors are equipped with recent developments in their field of law, most of them have become stagnant and do not care much. However there are a few who would give their best to make you learn.
Most of the students do not opt for campus placements rather they prepare for competitive exams also there is lack of education amongst the students about where and how to apply. The University does not have a placement officer.
The tuition fee of the University is the lowest amongst its peers and provides for an economical studying experience. The university also offers scholarships to particular classes of students. It's a growing university.
A lot of the students have a lot of fun due to less academic rigour and workload. It's a comparatively lenient University in terms of academics as there are no mid sems even. It gives the students a lot of time to indulge in extra-curricular activities.
It's a good university overall. Not the best law school in the country however one of the best. One should definitely weigh their future prospects before applying to the University because the overall university life is dependent on a lot of factors
The college has all the necessary facilities and is well maintained. Mess committee ensures that food always be served in a hygienic manner. The Madhu limaye library is a well-known library among colleges in Lucknow. It has an extensive range of books covering all the fields and not just confined to law. I believe, a decent library is the status quo for all the colleges.
Currently, I am studying subjects related to BA, like psychology, sociology and political science on the basis of my own selection. Along with, I am studying law subjects related to torts and contracts law. The curriculum is updated and the teaching faculty ensures that students delve into a novel reading related to law.
Considering the preference for judicial services by the majority of students studying here, currently, the quality of placement is average. Meanwhile, students work hard to get placed in reputed law firms and other corporate sectors. The college plays a supportive role in both ways.
I believe everything is worth enough when the individual work for it tirelessly. Other than that, the initial aspects that everyone desires are definitely worth it.
The campus life of RML is amazing. One can enjoy the lavish greenery it has. All the committees tend to organise their events as per the schedule which makes the students relish amidst strict study schedule. Teaching faculty is very supportive and in case of any emergency, it is handled well with futuristic actions.
Thus far, my journey has been satisfied. I hope it will be great at the end too.
