I was studying in Magadh Mahila College of Patna University. It has got one of the best infrastructure. Not all colleges that comes under Patna University has a infrastructure like this. Classrooms are very well furnished. Chemistry Laboratory has all the chemicals and substances. Library is well maintained and whole campus is very clean.
I was pursing Bsc in Chemistry Hons. Most of my colleagues in the 12th standard used to hate chemistry and they always used to say that chemistry is very boring but I always find it very interesting. So, I decided to pursue my graduation in Chemistry. Professors of chemistry is so good and they taught us each and every point of the chemical reactions and all. My curriculum was also updated with the latest advancements in the industry sector.
Placements in Magadh Mahila College is decent. 5 students from my section got placed in a Mumbai based drug company to carry out research. Many students got internships in Jalan Chemical Industry. Also, College was very helpful and always motivated us to do our best.
My whole course fee costed me around Rs 50,000 in 3 years. This college is slightly expensive than the other colleges of Patna University. But, if it is expensive, then it is also offering that value for money in terms of teaching and placements.
College campus is very beautiful. It has hardly any presence of dirt. The best part of this college is that they do not only focus on academics but on extracurricular activities as well. Every year sports competition, debate competition, cultural events are organised. Students, teachers and support staffs all are very good in nature. Overall, Campus life was a joyful period of mine.
This university is one of the oldest university of India having the rich alumni record. Most of the famous politicians from Bihar are passed out from this college. But, as the days passed, the charm of the university had faded a lot. Infrastructure is just basic. Laboratories and library needs some re-invention. No WiFi facility is there in the campus. Environment is also not as clean as I expected.
I had done BBA from Patna University. I always wanted to join a business company. So, I decided to do BBA. As far as teaching quality in PU is concerned, then its decent. Most of the professors are having a experiance of 15 to 20 years. Some of the professors were lazy and were not interested in teaching. They just came for their attendance purpose. My curriculum was not that updated according to the latest demands from the companies.
The quality of placements in my college was very poor. Even the talented students went on to sit in off campus placement drives as there was not as much oppurtunity provided by the college. Basically, there was no any scope of placements in my college despite doing a professional course like BBA.
My course fee costed me around Rs 15000/- per year. I was not getting the quality teaching as I expected at the time of admission. Also, students there had no any worries about their money as they were interested in only student union elections.
Campus life is below average in Patna University. Only the thing which I liked most about PU is that their course fee was very affordable. Students can participate in cultural activities, sports competition, debate competition etc. Students were very selfish. Though, Teachers and support staffs were very supportive and helpful. College is located at Patna in Bihar. Campus is not as safe as any private university.
Patna University has got the best infrastructure amongst all the universities in Bihar. My college have got all the infrastructure so that a student can enjoy his/her studies. Classrooms are very spacious with smart boards and projectors installed in it. Playground is very well maintained. Campus is quite clean. Though, Mess is not available but canteen offers a great taste and delicious food s.
I am studying B.Sc Zoology Hons. I am very strong in biology. So, I opted to do graduation in Zoology Hons. Teachers are very helpfull and they guide us in the best possible manner. Patna University is very good in academics and has a standard set of syllabus for every degree.
Without being biased, I would like to confront that placements in Patna University is not good. Though, colleges try to do its best by inviting companies but very few get selected in the campus placement.
No doubt, Patna University is very best in terms of affordability and pricing of the course. My course fee was just around ₹3500/- per year. Apart from this, if you are belonging from a poor family or if someone is handicapped, then he/she can get some scholarship too. Academics is very good. That's why, my money is more than worth.
The best thing about Patna University is that it is very punctual regarding examination and all. There are several other universities in Bihar, but they give your graduation degree very late or let's say even after more 1-2 year. Students can participate in union election, extracurricular activities like cultural events, Republic Day Parade etc. Campus is very safe and is located at Patna in Bihar.
Since it is funded by government, that's why it has just basic infrastructure. Though, classrooms are very big. Library hasn't the vast range of books but it's good though as I got several study material regarding business management. University needs some re - modelling as it is very old. Campus is very neat and clean. There is no mess facility in the campus.
I am pursuing BBA in Accounting & Finance. All the teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. Though, some teachers are not interested in solving each and every doubt of the students. Overall, it's good. My course syllabus is updated and contains all the important topics.
In Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, several reputed finance companies like paisa bazar, credilla, some local finance companies like star leasing and finance, samara finance etc. do regularly visit here to hire students. Though, not all get placed but previous year record was very good. Students also go for off campus placement. College supports us too much whether it's the matter of academics or placement.
The annual course fee of my college is around ₹15000/- . As this is a government funded college, course fee is very affordable even for the poor students. Academics is quite good, teachers are very helpful and there is the basic library facility. Considering these points, this college offers you a great value for money.
The best thing about my college is the teachers who teaches us in such a way that learning becomes a fun for us. One suggestion for my college would be to improve infrastructure facilities according to the new era. The campus is situated along the banks of river Ganga, Ashok Rajpath at Patna in Bihar. Campus needs to install some CCTV camera for security.
In Patna University, there are only two to three college whose infrastructure is very good and Vanijya Mahavidyalaya is one of them. This college has all the necessary and important infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Classrooms are well furnished. Library is good having all the books of Bcom. Though, Building is quite old yet the campus is very clean.
I was studying B. Com in Accounts. I want to enter in banking & finance. That's why, I pursued B. Com. Teachers in Vanijya Mahavidyalaya is very experienced and they guide in a very simplistic manner. Curriculum is updated and contains all the important things in it like finance management, financial risk assessment etc. This is why I feel I had enough knowledge regarding accounts.
During my period of study, placements were just average but over the time it has improved a lot in placement. Now, I've heard that several banking partners and finance company visit here to hire students. College was very supportive and always took our feedback and considered it as utmost priority.
My course was around 14 thousand a year. As I already stated that I got to learn much more in accounts which includes important topics like financial risk assessment, management, how to overcome after a big loss. So, these things were quite important and I learnt in a very good manner. Hence, I feel that my money was worth.
Vanijya Mahavidyalaya al ways focused on overall development of the students. That's why they used to conduct special sessions about life, workshop with some prominent personalities and conducting cultural events which really developed my holistic personality. I have no complaints regarding campus life of my college. Vanijya Mahavidyalaya is located at Ashok Rajpath, Patna in Bihar. Campus is safe and always alert to handle any unwanted situations.
Infrastructure of BN College which comes under Patna University is not that good. It needs a lot of improvement. During my time, I had seen the water leaking from the roofs. But, It had improved a lot after that. Although, Classrooms were good, library was having a collection of books and there was an open playground in the campus. The campus was not as clean as I expected.
I studied BA in English Hons. I just did my graduation but I was interested more in arts and crafts. But, I loved prose and poetry too much. That's why I chose this course. Syllabus was in accordance with Patna University and was updated till then.
I don't know much about the placements there because I was pursuing that course which hadn't any scope of placement at that time. During my duration, I seen students from science branches who often went for off campus placement and few of them were selected too. At that time, only few companies used to visit for placements in the college. Although, college was very supportive in terms of placement.
My course fee was just Rs 800 per year at that time which helped many students from poor background to get admitted in the college. In addition to this low fee, college also offered scholarship. No doubt, Teaching quality was awesome which made my money's very worth.
The best part about my college was teaching quality. Professors were highly skilled, professional and knowledgeable. They taught us each and everything in a simplified manner. Students used to participate in English debate competition, annual sports meet, republic day parade and cultural events. Every students and support staffs helped us in the time of need. The campus needs more security.
College has all the bases covered in terms of infrastructure. Classrooms are very old built and needs some renovation. Laboratory has all the equipments. Library has a large collection of books. Living spaces needs to be cleaned regularly.
I was pursuing Bsc Hons from Physics. I am much interested in Physics, that's why I had this very course. Professors are highly skilled and knowledgeable. They make sure that we do practicals of each and every experiments which is quite good. My curriculum is updated.
Talking about the quality of placements in my college, then it's below average. Very few students got placed in some company. One of my friend got internship through his own talent off campus. Companies generally do not visit here. So, I don't know much about the facts and figures of the placement.
My course fee costed me only 3000 bucks a year which is quite affordable even for a student belonging from a poor background. This money is worth as only in 9000, you are completing your graduation. Also, professors here are very supportive, they will guide you if you are in some trouble.
Campus life is very poor. Majority of the students come here just for the sake of required attendance which is quite bad. Students here are involved in students union election. Students can participate in various extracurricular activities like dancing, singing and mimicry on some special events. My college is located at Ashokpath, Patna in Bihar. College is safe as it is just 1/2 a KM away from police station and it is situated in the main city area of Patna.
Patna University has just the basic infrastructure and is average. Infrastructure really needs to be improved. Classrooms are very conjusted. Though, Library is quite good and has large number of books. Living spaces are decent. There is no Mess facility in the campus but yes there are few canteens which serves you hygienic food.
I am doing Batchelor's in Physics Honours. Physics has always been my strength since class 8th. That's why I opted Physics Honours. Not all professors are good except few of them. My curriculum is updated and contains all the important courses.
If we talk of placements in patna University, then it's purely and solely depends upon student. If a student thinks that college will invite some big companies to visit and hire students from their college, then it's their biggest mistake. He has to go for off campus placement. Many students from my college got internships from big companies like LG, Simply learn etc. after they cleared their respective tests.
One plus point of this university is that they offer you several programs at a very less fee. My course fee costs around 2000 per year which is very low. Even a student from a poor background can get enrolled in this university. Yes, I feel that my money is getting worth.
The best thing about this university is that they offer you a wide variety of courses at a very affordable rate. The worst part is infrastructure and placement. Students can engage in several activities like annual sports event, Republic Day parade, Student Union formation etc. Students, teachers and support staffs are very selfish. Overall, Campus Life is average.
My college is quite average in terms of infrastructure. The Classrooms are big but often they are dirty too. Laboratories doesnot have all the Equipments. LLibrary is Quite good as it has a nice collection of books. The food of Canteen is hygienic Smartboards are there in the class. This college has also a very big Playground.
I am Studying Physics Hons. Bsc from this College. The quality of teaching is decent but the problem lies in the fact that there is extreme shortage of faculties in this college. Curriculum is Not up-to-date with the recent developments. No, it doesnot make me job ready.
Quality of placements is poor as negligible number of the students get placements studying in this college. So basically there is no scope of placement here. So, there is no answer to the salary offered and all. College is not supportive in terms of placement. Few of the students from BCA and functional English department were placed.
My Course costs around 10000 per year . I think It is a Affordable college and provide education at a cheaper rate in respect of other colleges. I feel I am getting my money worth back because for its fee it provides decent facilities.
Coming to the Campus life.I can say that it is poor as there is very little scope for engagement and entertainment. There are very few occassions for the students to engage in. Teachers are well qualified but some students are uncivilised. It is safe and can handle emergencies as Police satation and hospital are nearby.
The campus is beautiful and good but the classrooms are not that good. Computer labs and science labs are good. Hostels are below par. Campus environment is best and facilities are also good. Mess, Medical facilities, Sports and Games are also available. There are no Wi-Fi facilities. Overall, living spaces are well maintained and clean.
I am pursuing BA from Political Science here in Patna University. I just choose this course to enhance my eligibility for general competitive exams. Except, few professors, all are not deeply devoted to teach.
I don't know much about placements because I am pursuing BA from Political Science Hons. which hasn't any scope of placement but if we talk of placement in other branches, then it is not that great because only few of the students got placed. Some got Internships and some were offered part time job. So, Placement is below par in this college.
My course fee is Rs 18000/- year. I don't think that my money is of full worth because except few professors, not all are teaching well here which is a great cause of concern among students. But, I can observe that there is improvement in teaching by day.day
Patna University is situated along the banks of Ganga, Ashok Rajpath in Patna. I must say that the campus is very large and campus life is quite good here. Our college have a big ground in which we can play cricket, hockey etc. College events start from freshers party to farewell. In between, we have sports event and cultural activities. We have also annual elections for council members and president.
The college has very vast history. We have very strong alumini network. Most of ex student are well established.
