RGNIYD Sriperumbudur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Institute has good boarding and lodging facilities in its well-contained hostel and guesthouses. The hostel facility for boys with all amenities like drinking water, hygienic food, laundry, and recreational rooms.

The university provides accommodation for girls with well-maintained rooms with all basic facilities. Students can make use of recreational rooms for playing indoor games.

Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur has medical care to handle the medical needs of students and staff. It has all types of emergency medicines to cure diseases.

Central Library is supported by more than 32000 books, e-journals, Print journals and Magazines, Dissertation, Audio-Visuals, Newspapers in English, Hindi, Malayalam and Regional Language, Online Databases, Back-volumes of Periodicals and Institutional Publications. The Library routine services have been fully automated and user-friendly library management software “Koha” (Open Source Software) is using. Centralised Air conditioning and Wi-Fi facilities are enabled in the library premises.

RGNIYD Sriperumbudur encourages and supports sports activities for the holistic development of students. It organises sports events such as badminton, table tennis, chess, and volleyball tournaments every year. 

Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur has established an air-conditioned computer lab having 32 clients and 5 servers with the latest configuration. This infrastructure is being used in the training of the youth and youth functionaries on various aspects of Information Technology such as Accounting, Statistical Packages and E-Learning.

The Auditorium has a seating capacity of around 600 and can be utilised for various purposes such as Cultural Festival and other high-profile programmes.

The campus also houses residential quarters for the faculty and staff of the Institute. 

The University has a well-equipped Classroom facility available on the campus. Classrooms help staff and students to have proper teaching and learning.
