Sikkim University, Gangtok Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Admissions to undergraduate courses at Sikkim University are based on CUET UG scores. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board and secure valid scores in the entrance examination. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website, and selection is made based on CUET UG scores and academic performance. The final step involves document submission and payment of fees.

Candidates must first meet the eligibility criteria for their chosen postgraduate programme and then complete the university application form. Admission is based on performance in CUET PG, and shortlisted candidates are selected based on merit. Once selected, candidates need to submit their documents and pay the admission fees to confirm their seat.

To apply for M.Phil or Ph.D. programmes at Sikkim University, candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in a relevant postgraduate degree. The selection process includes a written entrance test and an interview. However, candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR-NET/ ICAR-NET/ ICMR-NET/ DBT-NET/ SLET/ GATE/ Teacher Fellowship, or M.Phil are exempted from the written test.

Candidates must provide original and self-attested photocopies of their mark sheets, certificates of age proof, and an income certificate. Additionally, passport-size photographs are required. It is advisable to retain a hard copy of the application form for future reference.
