The university provides hostel facility for outstation students. For admission to hostels, students must apply at the beginning of admission. Sikkim University hostel facility is available on the basis of merit, number of seats available and as per the government of India reservation policy. Admission to the hostels are subject to renewal after each semester. Infrastructure of hostels are modest.

Sikkim University facilities also include girls hostel. The university provides comfortable accommodation for outstation students. The hostels provide all the basic facilities.
