About SRM University Chennai
SRM Institute of Science and Technology Chennai (SRMIST Chennai) is a private university which was established in the year 1985 and was formerly known as SRM University Chennai. SRM University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Indian council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The university is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an A++ Grade and NBA (National Board of Accreditation).
SRM University offers admissions to courses in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the major courses offered was BCA, MTech, MBA, M.Com, M.Arch, BA, BTech, LLB and many others. SRM University admission is merit and entrance based. SRMIST,Kattankulathur has an amazing campus with modern infrastructure that caters to the needs of a diverse student body. We have high tech libraries and fully equipped laboratories. The classrooms are well maintained,all classrooms have smart boards and air conditioners and the entire campus has a WiFi. Classrooms are not cleaned so often but they are manageable. Girls hostel has good facilities and the food is hygienic.

My classes were in main campus, they have 2 campus in ktr, the campus was so big that we had to take busses to go from one point to another. Very very green campus with multiple playgrounds for basketball and football.

To join campuses of VIT , SRM , and Amrita in Andhra Pradesh, you need to follow their respective admission processes. Here's a quick guide -
For VIT, admission is primarily through the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). So, register for that on it's official website. For select programs, admission may also be based on JEE Main or board exam marks.
