Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is a full-time four-year course degree offered by SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM

(i) Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS

Note: Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa. (source)

(ii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India.

Admission Details

The selection based on SRMJEEE or JEE entrance exam.

College Infrastructure

The college is having area of 250 acres with beautiful infrastructure and facilities such as free bus services which will make you feel so warm and welcome in a campus and city like Chennai which is a very developed city.

SRM University is a good choice for ambitious students.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus is big and has all the necessary facilities, tool and equipments which helps the students in their training and development. The classes are big and ventilated and the college has libraries and labs.

Yes the college has all the infrastructure.Yes all the facilities are used well yes the living space is clean and food is hygiene yes I feel everything is good and nothing bad about this college so yes that's all upto I studied.
