Akola Law College, Akola. The admission process at College is structured to select worthy candidates who wish to pursue a career in the legal field. The college follows merit-based admission procedures for the various programs it offers. For the flagship courses, which include the 3-year LLB and the integrated 5-year BA LLB program, the college accepts scores from a Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law that's conducted at the state level. 5. Merit List Preparation: College would prepare merit list by the scores, with other criteria based on MH CET Law and the one adopted by the college in respect of their admission policy.
6. Counseling and seat allotment: The short-listed candidates are called for counseling on a merit-cumavailable basis for seat allotment.
7. Fee payment and admission confirmation: The short-listed candidates shall pay the due fees, if any, and complete all admission formalities to secure the seat.
Degree wise Admission Process
BA LLB: The 5-year integrated BA LLB program at Akola Law College has an approved intake of 60 seats. Admission to this program is based on the candidate's performance in the MH CET Law examination. Eligible candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with the required minimum marks as per BCI norms.
LLB: The intake of the 3-year LLB programme has also been approved for 60 seats. Similar to the BA LLB program, the admissions are through the MH CET Law scores. Eligibility criteria are to have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university for this programme.
LLM: Akola Law College provides specific LLM programs in Criminal Law, Constitution and Administrative Laws, Corporate Law, Business Law, and Human Rights. Again, admission details for these LLM programs are not specified but must have been conducted on merit from the respective LLB program under which they have been admitted to this course and possibly entrance test/ interview.
