To get admission into Government Law College (GLC) Mumbai for the 5-year or 3-year law course, you need to go through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET LAW). The college offers both undergraduate law programs: BLS LLB (5 years) and LLB (3 y ears) .
Total intake for 5 years course is 240, with 180 in aided divisions and 60 in unaided divisions. Intake for 3 year course is 300.
Admission to this College is through MH CET LAW results. Reservation policies are there for the admission of the residents of Maharashtra according to government guidelines of the state.

If you want a seat in a government law college you need to crack CLAT but even if you crack it and secure one seat you can't afford a national law college as they have fees more than 10 lakhs rupees.
you can explore other options like applying to less competitive government law colleges in your state.state colleges has very less fee not more than 10k which is easily payable like bhu,amu,jmi etc.
Also you can look for scholarships or financial aid programs within government colleges, or considering law from recognized universities which might be more affordable than private colleges.
