    College Infrastructure

Old infrastructure but with all the facilities. The infrastructure is well maintained by the authorities. What all things are needed for a law student are available over here. The main highlight of a law school is it's library and it has a ample law books to read over.

    Academics

In terms of academics it is the only law college which can compete with top National Law Universities. It's better than lower ranked National Law Universities. The academic faculty has command over there speciality.

    Placements

Being located in Mumbai the placements are decent enough. The internship opportunities are also good when it comes in comparison with the National Law Universities. The highest package comes in par with the top Nlu's.

    Campus Life

It is located in Churchgate one of the prime locations of Mumbai

Have a question related to GLC Mumbai ?

Hi i want to some questions I studied LLM government law college.im not paying admission fee what can i do how to write my exam it's possible

    Hello there,

If you haven't paid the admission fee for your LLM at a government law college, you may not be allowed to sit for the exams. Here’s what you can do:

    1. Contact the College Administration – Reach out to the college office or exam department to explain your situation and check if any fee payment deadline extension or relaxation is possible.

    2. Request for a Payment Plan – Ask if the college allows installment payments or financial assistance.

    3. Apply for Financial Aid/Scholarships – Check if the college offers any financial aid or scholarships for students facing financial issues.

    4. Submit a Formal Request – If direct communication doesn't work, write a formal letter to the principal or administration requesting permission to appear for exams and an extension to pay fees.

    5. Legal Option – If the college is a government institution, you can also approach the education board or student grievance cell for help.

Act quickly since missing the fee deadline might prevent you from taking exams.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

marathi medium government law college in Maharashtra

    Hello,

Identifying government law colleges in Maharashtra offering instruction in Marathi medium is challenging, as most institutions primarily use English. However, some colleges may offer certain courses or support in Marathi. Here are a few notable government law colleges in Maharashtra:

    1. Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai : Established in 1855, GLC is Asia's oldest law college, affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

    2. ILS Law College, Pune : Founded in 1924, this government-aided institution offers three-year and five-year law degrees.

    3. Shahaji Law College, Kolhapur : Affiliated with Shivaji University, this NAAC-accredited "A" grade college has a legacy spanning over 90 years.

    4. Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Karad : Affiliated with Shivaji University, this college offers undergraduate law courses and is recognized by the Maharashtra Government and Bar Council of India.

    5. Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College, Pune : Established in 2003, this college offers LL.B. programs and is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Hope you find it useful !

    Hi,

No, Government Law College (GLC) does not provide admission through management quota. Admission to BA LLB course in government law colleges is based on a candidate's score in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) which is a national level entrance test or any other entrance Test conducted at state level.

Hope this information will help you
