Alpha College of Engineering, Chennai Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

This college, has received approval from the AICTE and offers an array of programs in engineering and management. The admission process is organized very systematically as per the guidelines of Anna University, Chennai, and the Government of Tamil Nadu. The first college admission for Alpha College of Engineering is initiated during May-June following the declaration of the 12th standard results. 5. If a seat is allotted based on the merit list to Alpha College of Engineering, the admission process takes place at the college.

For MBA:

1. Appear in the TANCET exam conducted by Anna University
2. Register for TANCET score counselling
3. Attend TANCET counselling and seat allotment
4. If selected, admission will be completed at Alpha College of Engineering.

For other programs like BCA, BBA and M.Tech are told to verify the college website and/or contact the admission office regarding specific application procedures.

Selection will be on the basis of merit in the entrance exam and other relevant academic merit. There might be some additional rounds, including group discussions and personal interviews, for the admission of the MBA, but no details are provided.

Admission Procedure Degree Wise

B. Tech: Alpha College of Engineering provides admission to various programs for B.Tech studies such as Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Robotics and Automation. Admission for these programs is done through the TNEA counselling process. The approved intake for different programs is from 30 to 60.

MBA: The MBA program has an approved intake of 120 seats at Alpha College of Engineering. Admission to MBA is based upon marks obtained in entrance examinations such as TANCET, conducted by Anna University, and Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu. 

M.Tech: An M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is offered with an approved intake of 12 seats. No specific information is given concerning admissions, but it may be presumed that acceptance is partly on the basis of GATE scores or a university-level entrance examination.

BCA and BBA: The College offers 60 seats each for BCA and BBA programs. The specific admission procedure for these two programs is not mentioned; however, a merit-based selection process on the basis of 12th standard marks would be expected.
