Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus has a wide range of infrastructural facilities. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campus facilities include a library that has a vast collection of books and magazines. A recreational room with a television and other facilities are also available at the campus. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri also provides medical facilities in case of an emergency.

For extra-curricular activities, the university has indoor and outdoor sports facilities and a swimming pool. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri lab facilities include a well-equipped computer laboratory and IT infrastructure that provides a high-speed internet facility to the whole campus. Amrita University Amritapuri also has a campus store to fulfill the students’ stationary and confectionary needs.

Boys Hostel
The school extends the hostel facility to outstation students providing a secure, calm, and homely atmosphere. Campus hostel has two separate blocks for boys accommodating around 750 students with hot water supplied to all blocks with the support and loving care of resident wardens in the boy's hostel.
Girls Hostel
The University extends the hostel facility to outstation students providing a secure, calm, and homely atmosphere. Campus hostel has two separate blocks for girls accommodating around 750 students with hot water supplied to all blocks with the support and loving care of resident wardens in the girl's hostel.
Medical/Hospital
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri has Medical care provided for the students during emergencies at our hospital- Amritakripa.
Library
The library which is an integral part of academics is kept open even beyond college working hours for the benefit of its users. An independent library management system, which is part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Management System helps the distribution of books more easily. It is user-friendly with a huge collection of volumes consisting of textbooks, reference books, and general books along with CDs, National and International journals, magazines, periodicals of all kinds, and leading newspapers.
Sports
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri provides various indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students such as football, cricket, basketball, carrom, table tennis, chess and many more. Students can also participate in various sports competitions.
I.T Infrastructure
Computer Labs at the school are equipped with advanced and sophisticated network computing environments with State of Art Technology. Over 280 desktop systems are networked over fast Ethernet and Wireless LAN using switches and routers with high-speed internet connectivity installed with advanced programming tools and multimedia features.
Cafeteria
The university has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Laboratories
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri has There are 5 labs each with 36 workstations that are well maintained under the supervision of the lab technicians. The computers have newer versions of software installed in them with each student provided with their own private drive and periodically the systems are upgraded. Each lab has resources of the internet and a printer. Also, throughout the semester students can work on the systems beyond the college timings.
Gym
The university has A multi-purpose Gym is set up to train students in Powerlifting and Weight lifting.

The college has Banks/ATM facilities for all students.

The college has a transport facility for students and staff.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like, photocopying facility & stationery, etc.).

College Infrastructure

The campus offers top-notch infrastructure with advanced laboratories for drug development and genetic research. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest technology. The library is rich in academic resources, and the campus includes green spaces that promote a calm study atmosphere.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is just mediocre. The wifi is very slow. The mess is always under construction. The library does not have any AC. The labs are okay. Though they will make you do lots of stupid things.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is definitely top tier. We had projector enabled classrooms with a fully WiFi enabled campus. Hostel rooms are quite spacious and house up to 4 students per room. There are well maintained sports facilities as well. The food offered in Mess facilities and Canteens is pure vegetarian, but there are several good restaurants nearby for non - vegetarians as well.

Hello aspirant,

There is a management quota you can join only if you have given a written eligibility test conducted by Amrita University. Without an entrance exam, chances are very less. Selection of seats in this quota is mostly done based on board marks.

You can easily get a seat in any of the branches and campuses that you wish for. 300th-ish rank is a pretty good rank. You can easily get branches like CSE ( 2017 cut off at Coimbatore 1817), ECE ( 2017 can't of at Coimbatore 2747), Mechanical Engineering ( cut off 3217), EEE ( cut off 4051).

Besides you are eligible for any branch and campus. The basis of the above analysis is the previous years AEEE data.

Dear Aspirant,

to pursue MTech in Thermal and Fluid Science at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham , you will need to have minimum marks in your under graduation as well have a good score in your GATE Examinations.

To avail admission without GATE score interested candidates are required to apply online, following which some will be shortlisted for a personal interview. After which those candidates who were successful in their interview are selected for admission.

The course for MTech in Thermal and Fluid Science is for a duration of two years and the total fees to paid for the two years is INR 3.23 Lakhs.

With respect to placements, students are offered a median package of INR 4.8 Lakhs.
