Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysore Campus has a wide range of infrastructural facilities. Hostels, library, sports, laboratories are some of the facilities provided by the university. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham hostel facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls that provide a secure and homely atmosphere for the students. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campus facilities include a library that has a vast collection of books and magazines. A recreational room with a television and other facilities are also available at the campus. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham also provides medical facilities in case of an emergency.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysore provides vegetarian food to the students and staff. For extra-curricular activities, the university has indoor and outdoor sports facilities and a swimming pool. Library
The library which is an integral part of academics is kept open even beyond college working hours for the benefit of its users. An independent library management system, which is part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Management System helps the distribution of books more easily. It is user-friendly with a huge collection of volumes consisting of textbooks, reference books, and general books along with CDs, National and International journals, magazines, periodicals of all kinds, and leading newspapers.
Sports
The university provides various indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students such as football, cricket, basketball, carrom, table tennis, chess, etc. Students can also participate in various sports competitions.
I.T Infrastructure
Computer Labs at the school are equipped with advanced and sophisticated network computing environments with State of Art Technology. Over 280 desktop systems are networked over fast Ethernet and Wireless LAN using switches and routers with high-speed internet connectivity installed with advanced programming tools and multimedia features.
Laboratories
The university has There are 5 labs each with 36 workstations that are well maintained under the supervision of the lab technicians. The computers have newer versions of software installed in them with each student provided with their own private drive and periodically the systems are upgraded. Each lab has resources of the internet and a printer. Also, throughout the semester students can work on the systems beyond the college timings
Swimming Pool
The university also focuses on extra-curricular activities for the students so that they can stay fit. Students can learn to swim and can participate in competitions as well.
Boys Hostel
The school extends the hostel facility to outstation students providing a secure, calm, and homely atmosphere. Campus hostel has two separate blocks for boys accommodating around 750 students with hot water supplied to all blocks with the support and loving care of resident wardens in boy's hostel.
Girls Hostel
The school extends the hostel facility to outstation students providing a secure, calm, and homely atmosphere. Campus hostel has two separate blocks for girls accommodating around 750 students with hot water supplied to all blocks with the support and loving care of resident wardens in girl's hostel.
Transport Facility
The university has Transportation facilities are provided by the Amrita University Mysore for the nearby students and staff. Buses ply to all the nearby locations in the city.
Gym
The university has A multi-purpose Gym is setup to train students in Powerlifting and Weight lifting.
Classrooms
The digitally rich student experience can be obtained through audio and visual teaching aids provided in the classroom. Teaching pedagogy can be efficiently maintained with practical ideas and strategies through an ICT-enabled classroom.
Convenience Store
The university has A convenience store, Local/STD/ISD facility are available at the campus.
Cafeteria
The university has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Medical/Hospital
The university has Medical care is provided for the student during emergencies at our hospital- Amritakripa.
Auditorium
The university has is a multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 1200 members which forms a venue for events like Annual Day, Fests, and other major programs conducted on the campus.
The university has a good networking for the alumni association.

College Infrastructure

The college is well equipped with all the necessary infrastructure and equipments which will enhance the learning ability of the student. All the classrooms are equipped with high speed Wifi which allows students to enhance their learning capability.

Yes, Blazer with the campus monogram to be worn with the uniform in Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham. No fancy hair bands, clips, nose rings, ear rings or danglings etc banned.

Hello,

so basically BCA Data Science provided by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is quite advance and job oriented. Though the BCA regular course provided is quite good too, with quite good range of subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Internet of things, etc.

The only difference in courses provided is that Amrita University's Data Science program merely focuses on Data Science although it have other advanced subjects.

So if you are anywhere interested in Data Science you should definitely go for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, since they provide the curriculum for Data Science in an elaborative way. And if you want to learn data science for the sake of knowledge and not want to build your carrier around it then you should go for regular course.
