Separate hostels for boys available inside the college campus. Boys have two hostels for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 450 students each with good infrastructure. A college van is available all the time to attend the emergency needs of the hostellers. They have facilities for indoor games also.

AIHT understands that physical health is more important for a student to concentrate well on his studies. The college takes special care of students' health. It has a health centre with all facilities inside the campus and a well-experienced physician takes care of this. Moreover, it is located near Chettinad Hospital. AIHT medical service vehicle is at the ready position around the clock. Dr. Viji Vasudev attends almost all students. She attends to the ailment of the students and administers treatment to them. After treatment, if they need rest, facilities are offered separately for boys and girls. In case of any serious ailment, the students are taken to the nearest hospital by College vehicle for treatment.

A well equipped Gym is established for both the hostel students to develop the physical fitness of the boys and girls. They have facilities for indoor games also.

The library – the treasure house of books and periodicals – is a center of intellectual activity of any institution. The Central Library strives to its readers in the interest of creativity and innovation, the predecessors of Research and Development. The library started along with the institution in the year 2000. It has a well-equipped library stacking more than 40,539 volumes of choice books in various engineering subjects, management, basic sciences and general. The library subscribes to more than 198 periodicals in print. Besides, the library has 1028 bound volumes of periodicals. The audiovisual educational programmes and video courses are often carried out in the library. The services provided by the library includes Lending service, Reference service, Inter-Library Loan, Internet Browsing, Current Awareness Service(CAS), and Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) Service. A separate Digital Knowledge Centre has been established in order to enable the users to browse the e-journals, e-learning materials, digital library collections of this campus and other online journals. This facility is available in the intranet of this campus. Recently IIT Web courses were added. The library has one file server for digital library and 20 nodes for the purpose of Information Retrieval system.

AIHT pursues excellence in sports. The sports infrastructure comprises of a separate gym for men and women. Indoor sports facilities for Table Tennis, Chess, etc and outdoor sports facilities for Volleyball, Basketball, Kabadi, and Cricket, etc., These facilities have been established at a cost of Rs. 10 lakhs. AIHT has an impressive record of performance in State and National level sporting events and has won many prizes. Our students have been participating in the zonal and inter-zonal tournaments organized by Anna University and other Universities.

The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

A canteen is functioning within the premises of our College. This food court caters the needs of students during working days (weekdays) as well as weekends. It is speckless and maintained very well. It provides fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items supplied in a hygienic, healthy way to suit the pockets of the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.

The college is easily accessible from Adyar, the heart of the City by the State-operated transport buses. In addition, the college owns a fleet of Forty-three buses one Mahindra van, one Tata sumo, and these buses operate along various routes starting from different points in Chennai city covering entire Chennai Metropolitan as well as suburban areas. Our booming transport facilities ensure that the students and staff can reach college in time with ease. The buses are also provided for field trips, educational tours, and industrial visits.

Anand Institute of Higher Technology organized alumni meet on 24th September 2017 at Anand Institute of Higher Technology for all departments. Alumni engagement is effective and very important to bring out best within students.Keeping this in mind, it was started to bridge the gap between the Industries and our college by an active interaction among the passed out students and current final years to make them Industry ready and hence increase the number of students placed. Around 350 alumni made it up to attend this meet.

Above the pleasant environment, AIHT satisfies the necessary needs of the students. It has a Photocopy Shop which is located at the entrance of the college campus. It opens from the morning to evening and it costs lower prices to the students for photocopying than the other shops. A stationary shop is also located near to the photocopy shop. All essential things related to theory and practical classes are available here. A selection of cool drinks and snacks item is available at a particular time.

AIHT is provided with Indian Bank that saves time and energies of students. Automated teller machine which is part of the Indian Bank is located near the bank. HDFC bank, State Bank of India ATMs are also available just the entrance of the college.
