Aroor Laxminarayana Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College and PG Centre (ALRMAAMC & PG Centre), Koppa, is an institution that was established in 1987 for Ayurvedic education. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Ayurveda with a total intake of 314 students. Admission to ALRMAAMC & PG Centre is strictly on merit.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test scores of the applicants decide their eligibility in the undergraduate section. For this BAMS programme, 60 seats are given based on students' performances with NEET results and further through counseling. Similarly, in all the postgraduates like MD Dravyaguna, MD Rasa Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, and MD Kayachikitsa, admissions strictly depend on students' NEET-PG merit.
The admission cycle usually follows the national-level entrance exams. The counseling dates of Round 2 - reporting and joining for NEET-PG are from 13 December, 2024 to 20 December, 2024. BAMS eligibility criteria are 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the core subjects, which have to be completed. For postgraduation, it is mandatory that the candidate should have completed the BAMS from a recognized institute. Specific requirements for each of the programs will vary, so candidates are referred to the website of the concerned college or guidelines given in NEET-PG.

Merit based on NEET for BAMS, and NEET-PG for postgraduate entry. The final admission will be done by document verification according to eligibility criteria set forth by the college and the concerned regulatory body.
Degree-wise Admission Process
BAMS: ALRMAAMC & PG Centre offers a BAMS program with an intake of 60 seats. Admission to the BAMS program is done based on the candidate's performance in the NEET examination. The college conducts its own written tests, and admission will be granted based on the marks obtained in these tests.
MD Dravyaguna: This postgraduate course has a total of 6 seats available. The entrance is done strictly on the NEET-PG score, with counseling after. The candidate applying for this must have completed his/her BAMS course.
MD Rasa Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana: This is another postgraduate course with a total of 5 seats. The entrance will be strictly done on NEET-PG score. Counseling for admission will take place based on the rank list of NEET-PG.
MD Kayachikitsa: This course also has 5 seats and admission is done in the same way as other postgraduate courses, strictly on NEET-PG scores and subsequent counseling.
The academics there is really given very importance. Teachers complete syllabus on time. They take timely assessments as well. Students are encouraged to study from library under the guidance of teachers.
