Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar has laboratory facilities run by Laboratory Establishment Committee

The institute has a library to cater for the literature need of the students and faculties and staff. At present there are books related to engineering branches of Chemical, Petroleum and Mechanical as well as basic science subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Also, the library has some booklets for personality development.

Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar currently runs a well-equipped computer laboratory having 32 Desktop PCs. The computer laboratory is accessible to all students, faculties, and staff of the institute.

Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar have well-built classrooms and conference hall. There are six classrooms having 32 student capacity in the Academic Block and two classrooms with 60 student and two classrooms with 100 student capacity in the New Academic Building. There is also a conference room for conducting seminars and workshops.

Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar encourages students to engage in sports activities for their overall development. The sports facilities are run by the Sports & Cultural Committee. Students are provided sports equipment in campus as well as hostels. There institute has items for different outdoor sports like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and indoor sports like carom, chess, ludo. Different Sports events are held during the annual college Techfest Xiworong as well as intel hostel sporting competitions.

Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar provides separate accommodation facilities for Boys and Girls. There is four boys’ hostels having a capacity of 285 students. The institute is planning to incorporate two additional boys’ hostels having a capacity of 150 students. Hostels have well equipped rooms with bathrooms. Students are provided furniture comprising of bed, mattress, chair, table, almirah along with kitchen and dining facilities. Every hostel is provided with two security guards each for safeguarding the students and hostel infrastructure and premises.

Hostel Accommodation charges per semester - INR 8,500/- 

The mess advance of Rs. 16500/- per semester will be adjustment towards actual bills at the end of each semester.
