Balasore Law College the premier institution for legal Studies was started in the year 1978 is located at Balasore, Odisha. This affiliated college having BCI approval is steadily serving the cause of law for more than forty years to build profound legal professionals. Located on a small plot of 2.3 acres, the college provides the efficient learning environment to those who are aimed to become lawyers. Students total enrolment is 693, and strength of faculties is 08 hence balancing the student-teacher ratio on right track. Three professional law courses are provided by the institution which are, LLB, BA LLB (Hons) and LLM for three different aspects of legal education.

Some of the facilities include; The college has facilities that seem to improve on the learning experiences of the students of the college. These amenities include a modern e-library containing computers and Wi-Fi signals at the centre of the institution. The library maintains a collection of reference books, text books and dictionaries, law journals, periodicals, reports and digests. As for future advocates the college has moot court to ensure students gain exposure to the actual court hearings. The institution also has two different hostels for boys and girls respectively with the capacity of about sixty students each for those who live from town. In order to provide a comprehensive development idea, Balasore Law College has facility for sports and has an auditorium for the purpose of cultural and academic activities.
