The infrastructure is moderate. The classrooms are good but are small. We have only one quadrangle to play all games like football, volleyball, badminton etc. There are no indoor games. Tedx and volleyball are actively done. Library is big and many books are available.
Faculty members are decent enough. They are qualified, and they have great subject knowledge. This college follows the updated curriculum, which is well updated and industry-ready. The faculty only focus on the syllabus, and they don't motivate students to learn the extracurriculars, which is necessary for placements.
The 6th-semester students become eligible for placements. Companies that visited the campus are Google, Amazon, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Samsung, IBM, Dell, HCL, HSBC, Big Basket, Book My Show, Robert Bosch, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. The placement percentage is 85-90%. The highest package offered is 24.5 LPA (on-campus), and the average package is 6.5 LPA. Last year, the highest package was around 39 LPA in ECE.
We have a separate library and lab for our department, which is only used by our department's students. We also have our own mini auditorium or seminar hall. The labs are equipped with good-quality systems and good Wi-Fi. The hostel is quite decent with decent food. Sports are not given much importance in our college, as there is no playing area.
Teachers are very helpful, as there is only one section from each batch and 65 students in one batch. Teachers can concentrate on each and every student's performance. All the teachers are double degree holders, and most of them have done their Ph.D.
Bangalore Institute of Technology has a very good placement rate. The highest package was 52 LPA, and the average package is around 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Fidelity, Accenture, and TCS. The department makes sure that all the students get an internship opportunity, or the department itself provides internships in college.
Our college has topnotch infrastructure, including greenery, proximity to transportation, and clean labs and classrooms. The hostel is very good and clean, and the mess and canteen provide healthy and good food. It is perfect for a student to stay in that kind of environment.
The lecturers were very helpful and cooperative when it came to studies. They were highly qualified in their respective subjects. The course was very relevant and prepared students for the outside industrial world. The semesters were pretty difficult, but the guidance was very good. The pass percentage was 65% and above.
The placement record at this college is impressive. Over 60% of the students were placed last year, with the highest package being 24 LPA and the lowest being 6 LPA. Companies that recruited students included Google, Cognizant, Microsoft, TCS, and Cisco, among others. Additionally, over 70% of the students received internships with reasonable stipends.
The facilities and infrastructure are good. There is Wi-Fi available, and the library is quite good. The food quality is good for lunch and dinner, but the breakfast is not always good. There are no sports and games facilities, but medical facilities are available. If there is any medical emergency, they will help out.
In Out college, a few teachers are well-qualified and explain well, which helps the students. However, not every teacher explains well. I would rate the teaching quality around 3. It depends on how you self-study, as not every teacher is good at explaining concepts. I would say the course curriculum doesn’t make you industry-ready; we have to study extra courses and apply them practically.
In the CSE department, around 70 percent of students have got placed. The highest package is 58 LPA in Microsoft (off-campus), the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 to 8 LPA. Top companies are Fidelity Investments, Cisco, Everts, Dell, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. 20 percent of students got an internship in Amazon, Cisco, Fidelity Investments, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. Roles offered include SDE, Java Developer, Full Stack Developer, Business Analyst, and Data Analyst.
This college has better infrastructure, and also canteens are available on the campus with good quality of food. But the main disadvantage of this college is that the area of the campus is very small, and it feels congested. You can see a dental college, law college, and MBA college within 100 meters, but the college is in the city center.
Exams are above average; it is very difficult to score 100 percent, but it is somewhat easy to pass. In exams, some lecturers correct papers liberally, and some lecturers correct very strictly, but it depends on the lecturers in this Bangalore Institute of Technology.
Well, I don't know much about that, but what I heard from seniors is not to depend on college placements. We know that the average package is 7 LPA and the highest is less than 30 LPA. I am from the 1st year in this college, and top recruiters are Amazon, etc.
BIT boasts an impressive infrastructure with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a resourceful library. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, making online research and study convenient. However, sports facilities can be improved.
The academic curriculum at BIT is well-structured and industry oriented. The professors are highly knowledgable and approachable, always ready to give insights and clarify doubts. Regular workshops and seminars keep students updated with latest technology trends.
Amazing placements with top companies including MNCs of global standing hire from the capus. These companies visit the campus on regular basis with competing packages. The placement cell is very supportive as well.
Given it is one of the oldest colleges in Karnataka and with a great alumni base, the college is an absolute value for money. As compared to several new colleges, the rich legacy offers a great advantage along with locational benefits.
The campus lie at BIT is very vibrant. Students from across the nation study at the campus. They form an everlasting bond. Various clubs and cultural events make college life exciting. The annual fest is a highlight and provides a great platforms.
Infrastructure is fine, not too good not too bad, hostel is not good in terms of hygiene, no wifi , you have to install wifi on your own, classrooms have projector facilities but not smart boards, overall its fine
The quality of teaching is overall good, but I think they should update the syllabus, there are subjects which I think is not related to industry level , some teachers are always in rush to complete the syllabus whether student understand or not
Placement is average, you can't rely on campus placement, average salary offered was 6 to 7 lakh per annum, this year placement was not sooo good, most of the seniors got placed off campus with good packages like 20-22 lpa
I think its fine, this college has good teachers which really help in understanding concepts n all, so yeah its not that bad,
No campus life as this college doesn't have much space
Good enough but i want it to improve way more than how it is right now because it is a very old building and would need some renovation to come upto international standards like other private schools.
Decent enough but could do better and improve in various aspects but for now its not bad and the exams are good enough to score better marks than other private college students as they suffer with difficult papers
Apparently they are not that bad but they should increase the number of companies coming in to interview due to the increasing number of engineers in the society and come on par with other private colleges
Too much that the college doesnt fund anything extra
Good enough because of the people
Wish the infrastructure amd fests improve
has decent and minimal infrastructure . Nothing much to explore in the campus. but has good facilities for education. excellent libraries , decent laboratory, has decent food stops around the campus and classrooms with projectors.
lecturers are well qualified and helpful .Not much pressure is put on students so you can spend extra time productively exploring .has excellent library facilities to spend time and learn new concepts. Students are ell taught of the concept and taken extra care
has good average of students placement over the years . companies like Phone pe, Microsoft, CISCO, TCS are mass recruiters in this college. over 100+ companies visit for placement every year and has an average of 6.7 LPA package
Yes our College is providing all necessity Infrastructure facilities, equipments which needed for the learning in modern days, the canteen is very well maintained and hygienic in always and affordable also.
Academic wise it is good your college as most expensive faculty in almost all branches for MCA they are very much knowledge in their respective field from IT sector to core sector but the student when is more compared to other colleges but teacher sir very supportive
Placement process is also fine doing now for our seniors and all as long the core sector and IT sectors are coming for the MCA which there offering 3 to 4 lakhs and almost 80% of the students are getting placed every year.
