Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Bangalore University, Bangalore.

Eligibility Criteria

A citizen of India who has passed any bachelor's degree examination of Bengaluru University or any University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent through 10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education who has obtained 30% of marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied for the degree is eligible for B.Ed, program.

The candidate with less than 50% agree with the degree, but a master's degree with 50% is also eligible for a B.Ed. program.

In the case of SC/ST, category -1 and physically challenged students 45% marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied for degree courses or 45%, in post-graduation.

A candidate for admission to a degree of education (B.Ed.) must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the directives of Govt. of Karnataka from time to time.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
