It was quite an experience giving a review.

    College Infrastructure

    a. BIMS had all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment to support medical education and patient care effectively. b. The classrooms were spacious and equipped with projectors and essential tools for interactive learning. Laboratories had the required apparatus for practical sessions, the library was well-stocked with medical books and journals, and the hospital provided hands-on clinical exposure. While WiFi was available in some areas, its connectivity was inconsistent. c. The hostels were decently maintained, with regular cleaning ensuring hygienic living spaces. The food served in the mess was simple but hygienic.

    Academics

    a. I pursued MBBS at BIMS because of my passion for medicine and serving the community. The faculty were knowledgeable and supportive, ensuring clarity in both theoretical and clinical subjects. b. The curriculum was aligned with MCI standards and was fairly updated. It provided a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, which helped us become job-ready, especially with mandatory internships offering real-world experience.

    Placements

    a. While MBBS placements are primarily about securing internships, BIMS ensured that all students had access to internships at the associated hospital and nearby medical facilities. b. Post-MBBS, many students opted for government or private roles or prepared for PG entrance exams. Salaries varied based on specialization and roles, with PG-qualified doctors securing higher packages. c. The internship placement process was smooth, and the college provided immense support in coordinating postings and ensuring clinical exposure

    Value for Money

    a. The fees for MBBS were economical compared to private institutions, as BIMS is a government college. It was approximately ₹60,000-₹70,000 annually. b. Yes, the course was value for money, considering the affordable fees, quality of education, clinical exposure, and the reputation of the college in Karnataka

    Campus Life

    a. The campus was functional and modest, with basic amenities. Its best features included the hospital's proximity for clinical exposure and a few green spaces for relaxation. However, recreational facilities for students were limited. b. Students, faculty, and hospital staff were supportive and created a cooperative learning environment. Located in Belagavi, the campus was in a safe area with accessible emergency facilities within the hospital premises.

    College Infrastructure

Our college infrastructure is so well furnished. Classrooms, labs, canteens, all are well constructed and well equipped. I love whole corridors and quadrangle where we roam and walk Everytime. Dissection halls and conference Chambers are also there.

    Academics

Academics wise it's completely good. We have good syllabus recommend by MCC India. Being government college all lecturer doctors are really good and have lot of experience. Library have vast resource of books.

    Placements

As we are doctors, so we need not to be compulsorily placed at any hospitals. But still placementation is quite good. Many students opt for higher studies and many of us write qualifying exam and join government or private hospitals after our internship.

    Value for Money

No waste of money at all. Providing us a great facilities.

    Campus Life

Campus life of our is so amazing. It's completely peaceful and is of friendly environment.
