see generally in india state wise leet i.e lateral entry exams held by state technical education board, like west bengal there is jelet exam for lateral entry admission in btech courses. you need to check the exams form in website and need to apply for the particular exam,. however some of the tier 2 or tier 3 colleges has direct admission process, but it would be better you go for lateral entry test. follow the below link to know about colleges which has lateral entry admission process,

You need to write JEE(Joint Entrance exam) conducted by the college and get a valid score in that so you can get an admission in this college . The online application forms are available till May 22 and the exam would be conducted on May 31 2020 in some of the major cities in India .

You ca n do diploma course of two years and after that you can directly get lateral entry in the B.Tech course.

2016:
BE Plastic Technology 147 marks
BE Manufacturing Engineering 166 marks
2015:
BE Plastic Technology 169 marks
BE Manufacturing Engineering 162 marks
You can compare your marks with these cutoffs to get some idea about your admission.

I could not understand your question properly. What I understood was that you are asking about the placement and package scenario of the college. Highest package vary every year according to the cocmpanies.
Highest package till date is 9 lpa. Average package in 2018 was 3.6 lpa for Plastic Engineering.
Nowadays, many Placements accreditions have been awarded to CIPET so the chances are more.
