Chhattisgarh Institute of Management and Technology, Bhilai Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Chhattisgarh Institute of Management and Technology (CIMT),an engineering college located at Bhilai in Chhattishgarh, provides various engineering courses, and it is primarily focused on providing good quality technical educations. The admission process at the institute is one to select students through the standardized merit-based selection process. The counseling for admission into CIMT is mainly done through the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh.

It is said to depend on the academic year followed by the announcement of result from entrance examinations. B. Tech admissions, too, will be based on the CGPET scores or JEE Mains. The institute has its quota division, i.e., State Quota and All India Quota, and as decided by the Directorate of Technical Education.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech is passing out 10+2 in PCM. Candidates still have to qualify the CGPET organized by Chhattisgarh's Professional Examination Board (CGVYAPAM) to get admission into the state quota. JEE Mains merits will be considered for candidates applying for the All India Quota.

CIMT accepts two main entrance exams:

8. Payment of requisite admission fees for securing the seat.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.tech: CIMT has five B.Tech programs with total intake capacity of 292 seats. The admitting processes are the same in all B.Tech programs and relies mainly on scores in CGPET or JEE Mains. The following B.Tech programs are available:-

2. Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (67 seats)
3. Computer Science and Engineering (45 seats)
4. Civil Engineering (45 seats)
5. Electrical and Electronics Engineering (45 seats)

Eligibility to apply for B.Tech programs is passing 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics qualification in CGPET or JEE Mains.

Diploma: CIMT also offers two diploma programs:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (45 seats)
2. Diploma in Civil Engineering (45 seats)
