The CM Annamalai Polytechnic College was founded in 2009 and is an affiliated college situated in Vellathur, Tamil Nadu. Located in a small area of 0 acres, this AICTE recognised polytechnic has four diploma courses in spheres of engineering. The college is able to sustain a student-teacher ratio due to the fact that it admits 405 students in a year and is staffed by 29 members of faculty. The institution is aimed at delivering quality technical education in the field of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Electronics & Communication Engineering to meet the requirement of trained technocrats in these fields.

It has an assortment of amenities meant for the improvement of learning environment and development of college students.
