CM Annamalai Polytechnic College, at Vellathur, is an AICTE-approved diploma engineering course-providing college. The entrance to the college is through a clear-cut admission procedure as per the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. Well, usually the admission cycle of C.M. Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This course is the largest program within CM Annamalai Polytechnic College with an intake capacity of 180 seats as approved. For applying to the course, students should have completed their 10th standard with the subject combination of Mathematics, Science, and English.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: This program, with an intake of 60 seats, allows admissions based on students' performance in the qualifying examinations. The eligibility criteria and admission procedure are similar to the other diploma programs run by the college.
Diploma in Civil Engineering: This course has an approved intake of 30 seats. Admissions are done on merit based on the list prepared as per the guidelines of the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. Students with a strong background in Mathematics and Science are encouraged to apply.
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: This program also admits 30 students and adopts the same admission process as all the other diploma programs in the institution. Accordingly, candidates with good aptitude toward electronics and communication technologies would suit this course very well.
