Cochin University of Science and Technology - Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (KMSME) focuses on marine engineering education. Application Process
This is the stepwise admission process to be undertaken for admission into the B.Tech Marine Engineering program of KMSME.
1. Register for the CUSAT CAT examination using the official CUSAT website.
2. Complete the online application form for CUSAT CAT with accurate personal and academic details.
3. Remit the application fee via prescribed means of payment.
4. Submit the filled application form with the required documents beforehand as per the deadline.
5. Appear for the CUSAT CAT examination on the appointed date.
6. On declaration of CUSAT CAT results, successful candidates shall be called to KMSME to undergo further requisite admission procedures.
7. The selected candidates may undergo counseling and documents validation at KMSME.
8. The final selection is predicated upon the CUSAT CAT score achieved by the candidate and fulfillment of all stipulated eligibility criteria.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech in Marine Engineering: It is a 4-year full-time B-Tech program in Marine Engineering duly offered by KMSME. It's the hallmark course in this institution, having an approved intake capacity of 80 students. This program's key admission base is through performance in the CUSAT CAT. This course aims at comprehensive knowledge and skills as a prerequisite for entering the maritime industry while theory content is practically operating experience.
