the minimum eligibility criteria for admission as lateral entry in coimbatore institute of technology is you need to secure atleast 50% marks in diploma to become eligible. however it never disclosed by the college the cutoff percentage, getting marks above 70% will be on safe side.

The hostel is situated in the campus itself and has all sort of amenities equiped for students benefit also. You have a decent rank in TANCET ME 2019. But since you belong to OC category your chances of making into government colleges like MIT, CEG etc. PSG is one of the top colleges and since not only the TANCET candidates but GATE candidates are also competing it might be difficult o make the cut. Leaving that you have a good chance. Be hopeful.

To the extent of my knowledge there is both channels GATE and TANCET for intake of MTech/ME in colleges affiliated to Anna University. And for colleges like PSG particularly, let me tell you there is entry on the basis of TANCET also. Same goes for CIT and GCT also. So don't worry.
