CPCL Polytechnic College is an eminent technical institution situated at Manali, Chennai Tamilnadu which was started in 1989. This affiliated college approved from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) impart education in engineering stream. Within the large campus of 20 acres, CPCL Polytechnic College is offering the campus facility to total students of 526 and faculty of 25. To date, the college provides three diploma programmes that focus on various engineering disciplines to meet the wide range of preferences of technicians and engineers in training.

The college strongly believes that every student must be able to learn in an environment with adequate machinery. As an academic institution,the library is well stocked and it boasts of thirty seven thousand seven thousand volumes, six national journals, and fifty educational C.D versions. It is also affiliated with the National Digital Library, New Delhi for students to access millions of digitized documents. As for the practical experiences, the college is equipped with functional labs in which students can solve numerous examples based on the curriculum.

The college acknowledges the role of technology in teaching and learning and thus have ergonomically built two computer labs equipped with fashionable computing paraphernalia and Internet connection. In line with a development approach, the institution offers an amenities for sporting activities in terms of health and recreation. The college also has an auditorium which used for conducting seminars, workshops, cultural programmes, other competitive and talent conscious events so that the students can participate and share their ideas and knowledge.

The CPCL Polytechnic college has three diploma that take three years each enabling students to be awarded full time diplomas. Such programmes include Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Thus, each course, in each programme, has an approved intake of 60 students, which makes a total of 180 total available seats. The strategy kept the student faculty ratio low, which has ensured that students receive individual attention and quality education.
