CSI College of Engineering (CSICE), located at Ketti near Ooty in the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, follows a merit-based admission process for its various courses of engineering, CSICE is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and possesses a large number of engineering courses on its 25-acre campus.
The CSI College of Engineering, Nilgiris, admission process is designed to select deserving candidates for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. For undergraduate courses, the CSI College of Engineering, Nilgiris places sole emphasis on performance in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). The TANCET examination is a key component of the admission process, and students seeking admission to CSICE are required to qualify in this test to become eligible for admission to CSICE.
The minimum qualification prerequisites for undergraduate programmes are to pass 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. For postgraduate programmes, candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree in the relevant field of engineering from a recognised university.

CSICE offers several courses in B.Tech and BE like Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Civil Engineering. These courses are admitted based on TANCET scores and 10+2 academic record. The intake capacity varies for each course; Computer Science Engineering is the one with the highest intake of 120 seats.
Computer Science Engineering, Structural Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, and Manufacturing Engineering are ME courses offered by the college. TANCET score and the candidate's undergraduate performance will decide the postgraduate course admission. Intake capacity in ME courses is between 9 to 18 seats depending on specialisation.
Apart from this, CSICE also offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), and Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programmes. All these programmes have a 60-seat intake capacity. CSI College of Engineering, Nilgiris admission process for these programmes may be different from engineering programmes and may be based on merit in the qualifying exam or on some other entrance exam.
