Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology has an active training and placement cell that provides training and placement opportunities to the students. The placement cell of DSCET Chennai organises various placement activities such as industrial visits, in-plant training and projects of industrial relevance, to bridge and connect the industry and the students. 

The DSCET Chennai placement cell provides campus recruitment to final-year students. The placement infrastructure at DSCET Chennai consists of an auditorium, GD panel rooms, closed interview panels and a conference hall.
