Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc. Nursing: It is a four-year undergraduate program with an approved intake of 40 students. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with science subjects are eligible to apply. Admission may be through consideration of qualifying examination scores and possibly an entrance test.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: This is a two-year course for registered nurses. It has an approved intake of 40 students. The applicants must have completed their GNM diploma and have relevant work experience as per the INC norms.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): This is a three-year diploma course with an approved intake of 60 students. Eligibility usually includes completion of 10+2, preferably with science subjects.

M.Sc. Nursing: Different specializations for M.Sc. Nursing are also offered by the college for two years, and the specializations are as follows:

  1. M.Sc. Medical Surgical Nursing 3
  2. M.Sc. Community Health Nursing 3
  3. M.Sc. Paediatric Nursing 3
  4. M.Sc. Psychiatric Nursing 8
  5. M.Sc. Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing 3

Candidates should have completed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing for M.Sc. programs. Admission would be based on class XII performance at some colleges and entrance exams/interviews at others.
