Subpar, really needs to develop. No access to most of the infrastructure you would expect. There is no internet connectivity, Subpar computer systems, number of classrooms do not match nor exceed the number of sections in the departments.
Very bad, no professor is good enough to handle the task of teaching basic topics nor do they recognise their inability. Understanding the fundamentals is lost nor do they try to explore other ways to teach when they have failed.
TPO is small and does the bare minimum amount of work to be called an entity of it's own. Placements are rare and no companies are called to the campus. And if companies are arriving on their own accord the tpo does not recognize it as an opportunity for the students.
If you want to spend a few years of your limited time, wasting around and attending classes for almost net zero knowledge then this would b the best place to do that. Simple and easy as that. The money you provide is no doubt wasted here.
No campus life, there is an award ceremony that is disguised as a fest. This fest BTW has the most lax security I have ever seen and the things that have happened here have been concealed by the staff.
The Infra at Don Bosco Institute of Technology is well maintained ,I am happy that the classroom are equipped with projector,Wi-Fi take connectivity and well equipped computer Labs, additionally the campus includes recreational facilities such as sports Grounds and cafeteria
The academic environment at our college is regards and focused on developing a solid Foundation information science and engineering the faculty members of experiences and knowledgeable in their respective fields the teaching style may sometimes toward traditional method but they are come with with new ideas like entrepreneurship
Placement for our branches relatively strong with many student secure jobs in reputable IT companies .with around 70 to 80% of the students get placed with the average package of 7 to 8 lakhs per annum depending on the year of the job market and skillet of a particular candidate.
College infrastructure is very good. Computer lab is outstanding which is necessary in Practical knowlegde gaining. Hostel facilities are availavle nearby campus area only. All equipments are available and well functional as well.
Curriculum is very much practical and experience based in nature so it is very much enjoyable and not feels boring at all. Teachers are very much kind and enthusiatic and always organize events for additional knowledge to students.
Placements are excellent as 100% placement support is providef by college it self. Salary offered is 7 to 13 LPA. Many government agencies are also taking part as recruiters in placement drive. Placement process is very smooth and easy.
Infrastructure is good with facilities such as laboratories, libraries, sports centre, hostels. The campus is clean and hygienic food is available. Libraries have a collection of books available. With wifi available on campus.
Teaching quality is good and the professors are really readily available to help the students to bring out the best in them. The course curriculum is updated every year. The study makes the students job ready as there are many industrial training provided
Many companies visit the campus with average placement going as high as 90 percent. With many big companies like Infosys, Accenture, TCS, HashedIn, Mphasis students get a lot of opportunities to get placed
Value for money
Students can participate in various activities
My overall experience to date has been amazing , and the college is having an amazing infrastructure and all facilities which provides a comfortable environment to learn. The college gives us full support but in the end it's all up to us that how we make use of the opportunity provided by the college.
All teaching and non teaching staffs of the college are very supportive ,They respond quickly to students and make sure that students aren't facing any issue and they resolve them immediately if there are any.
I must mention about the placements happening in our college, The training and placement department is striving really hard and they make sure that almost every students of the college gets placed before completing the graduation which helps the students to start and build their career.
The overall fees of our college for BE course is 90400 which is neither low nor too high which is bearable and in addition many students gets scholarship which helps in paying the fees.
As mentioned earlier there is a comfortable environment for students to learn and develop their skills.
In the end I'd like to thank all the teaching and non teaching staff who supported me , corrected my mistakes and pushed forward to learn and now I'm placed in a good company which happened through college placements.
During my time, college was underconstruction but they provide better classrooms to students. Library was also full of management guru's book to help students to complete their assignments. Overall primeses is of good health and hygiene.
MBA in Marketing and Finance. Supportive Faculties and help in every stage of semester. Faculties help students to complete curriculum on time. Provides and manage outbound training and industrial visits also.
Was given big promises and placements visions but Placement cell had no management for students to be placed at right place. Average salary was around Rs. 25000/-per month and we were getting more than this through any job portal.
Programe fees was Rs. 485000/-. I think money is not worth it, atleast college may took some extra handsome amount for course but provide better job placements to each and every student. Many student took loan for management courses.
Hostel life was good. No ragging and great support from Warden. Warden behaviour is like and elder brother who supports us and scold us at the time, to avoid any uncertainty with the students who came from another state and region of country.
Overall got to learn many things to manage and saw the hard face situation due to lack of management system. Learn how to come up from the fear and manage ourself if stuck in any problem. Get learning from industrial visits how to run an organization and manage the labours.
I have Spent 4 years in this college and there are lots of memories... the infrastructure of this college when I joined was still developing and now when I'm leaving I felt like this should have been from the beginning of my journey at this college.
The teaching staff here are so encouraging and I enjoy the teaching here. The lectures here are well educated and help us in clearing all the doubts. The labs are well equipped and since I'm from a mechanical background we had all the required machines to work on.
The placements are day by day increasing and they try to place each and everyone. I have one issue regarding this that I couldn't get placed in a core company expect that I'm satisfied with what I have now.
My course here coasted me around 86000 through common entrance exam. Yes I feel that whatever I have paid is worth it since we were provided with all the lab equipments which helped us to understand the concepts.
The campus of my college is very huge and it has many things like it has a cafeteria, cricket ground, hostel for both girls and boys, basketball ground, Volleyball ground, canteen, library with all the books that we need.
To sum it up it was a wonderful journey at Don Bosco Institute of Technology. Thank you Don Bosco
The college has all facilities and the necessary equipments! Labs have newly updated computers with all the software's required! The library is very big and nice! The living spaces are clean and the food is excellent! Bathrooms are averagely clean!
Quality of teaching is very good! Teacher's are well educated in their fields and the CSE staff is very big and has the best teachers! The curriculum is quite updated with all the recent developments!
Almost 70% students have been placed! Placements are pretty good! Good MNC come to the college with fair to good packages! The placement department are very supportive and the communication is transparent. Overall placements are good.
Don Bosco is worth it!
Good
The college has a good infrastructure and facilities. A great cricket ground, football field, basketball court and volleyball court is well maintained. Yearly fest and sports events are conducted apart from academics.
I am studying in Information Science and Engineering (ISE) branch. The department staff and lecturers are very supportive and talented. They are updated with the recent technologies and encourage the same to the students.
The placements provided are great and satisfactory. Great opportunities are provided by the placement department. Placement guidance is provided every semester that helps students to improve themselves for the placements.
I paid 86000 (cet plus college fees) per year for the course.
A wonderful college life. Great teachers and college staff. A good place to study and grow as an individual.
Overall college infrastructure is good, a good place to study a nice decent hostel is provided but there are somethings that are missing like a good wifi connection, gym and a completely developed ground.
Currently I'm studying B.E. in Information Science and Engineering. I'm a final year student. The quality of teaching is good. The curriculum made by VTU (affilated university) gives the opportunity to learn and get some knowledge in many of the new technologies like web development, machine learning, IOT, Artificial Intelligence etc. But according to me if you wanna to grow you need to learn the things on your own.
The placements opportunity is quite good you can expect the placement of package mainly in between 3 - 5 LPA. Other than that few companies also visit who can even provide a package of 8 LPA. All I can say is that If you have a knowledge (especially in the field of computer science) then definitely you'll get placed.
The per year cost of my course is 1,51,000.
Overall campus life is good, you'll learn many things and will grow for sure. You'll get the exposure of society how things work learn to interact and many other important things that will definitely help in your rest of the life.
