Yes , it has all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipments . ADGITM has the best infrastructure compared to all the colleges in GGSSIPU . It has two grounds , one is for football and also it has one kabaddi court , one basketball court , one volley court , has indoor Table Tennis , has badminton court ,and has sports room for indoor games. It has a clean and hygienic campus . It has wifi for teachers in each and every block but No wifi For students..
I am doing Btech in IT and teaching quality is decent , some teachers are awesome but some teachers teach to do their job . Yes , curriculum is updated but it doesnot have all the recent developments in the field (you can go through the curriculum on ADGITM website)
Placements are decent ..average package is 3.5 lpa (around )But it is improving as last year one student is placed in shopee at 33LPA , one student at google , one at microsoft ( You can go through the ADGITM website), also amazon comes in our college for placements ..
Yes , it is definitely value for money , cost per is around 1.10 lakhs , if you will work harder to achieve your goal then its definitely worth it...
As i told u this college is best in terms of infrastructure and all and this college is best in sports also..It is located in shastri park , location is not good at all , its too crowded , there is no place to enjoy outside college .. teachers and staff are good , they are too supportive , will definitely understand you and your problem and also ready to teach you if you are ready ..
Overall this is a decent college in GGSSIPU..
College have all the neccessary equipments though it lacks some infrastructure like wifi availability and smart boards in every class. College doesn't have hostel of it's own but there are PG's nearby.
I'm a student of btech Computer science. Teachers are good but curriculum is not maintained. Teachers will entertain you personally but in class they are not so good. Overall teaching is average you have to study on your own.
Placements are very average. Only if you are CS IT student you can expect a placement that too of 3-4 LPA max!!! Companies like Infosys, TCS are mass recruiters. Placement criteria are also strict....
Cost of course is around 4-5 lacks. It isnt the best college you should be in. But if you try and work hard you can get placement of 9lpa also. It depends on hardwork you put in. It is okay college giving placements to CS IT grads .
Campus life is good. College have 14-15 societies where you can show your talent. College dance society is the best. Location of college is a draw back .its not safe and you cant stay in college beyond 6PM.
Overall average college. With good campus life societies to work on interpersonal skills. Placements for CSE and IT students. So if you are getting these branch you can join the college. It's a good college
The building structure is decent. Smart boards? Lol. Library is very small and is full all the time. Hostel? Again, lol. You are not allowed to play before 2 pm irrespective of the fact if you're in the college team or not. Sitting in the field or anywhere except classrooms is not entertained. The college is mostly cleaned though. Washrooms are cleaned.
You would soon realize that you can easily learn whatever they're teaching in a day or two. If I chose IT or CSE I would obviously know what a RAM is or what a keyboard is. But, no you would be taught about what an output device is. God damn, i know it!
The seniors tell me there is no placement. But, if you go to the college basement you would realise there is some placement. You would be relieved. But for only 2 seconds because then you would read the amount. 2.25 lpa. I have a senior who was asked to go to daman and was offered 15k per month :). I would suggest start studying from day 1. Not the college stuff, but whatever you want to do. Study that. If you have the skills, don't really need college placements.
They charge 4 lakhs for the course and in teturn you get a 3 lpa job. Not bad, is it?
You cant roam anywhere in between the periods. It is less of a college and more like a school. But the good thing is you will find friends and they would become your family :)
Best of luck if you're trying to take admissions here.
The college is well equipped with all the necessary facilities to carry out technical understanding and gain practical experience with the cohesion of theoretical knowledge. The library is well equipped with study material relevant to the curriculum and also has special section for journals on latest research work in the respective engineering domains. The college has various sports facilities and extra curricular platforms.
The college focuses more on theoretical knowledge than on practical application though the teachers provide sufficient resources and teach in a very friendly manner. The curriculum is updated according to the latest advancements.
The college placement is below average but if you are determined you can also bag packages upto 15-16lakhs per annum which was the highest package given to one of my fellow senior. The average package is 4-5 lakhs per annum.
The fees is absolutely reasonable and affordable , the annual fees for b.tech courses is 1lakh per annum which compared to most of the colleges in Delhi is quite low. This affordability opens up other platforms where you can invest your money in , e.g study material , courses for Gate or UPSC . Plus you can also avail scholarships provided by the government.
Campus life is the best part of the college , the seniors are really helpful and caring , the teachers are also willing to explain and help in anyway possible. The societies in the college really help the students in charecter development and personality building some of the societies are very renowned in the respective circuits.
The teachers and seniors are really helpful and friendly and despite of relatively low infrastructure and placement packages you will get ample opportunities to cease upon to , and maybe you will meet people who will impact the way of your thoughts which will surely be the biggest point of the college life.
College have all the necessary equipments and infrastructure is upto par. Adgitm provides wifi for everyone except freshman year. It has nice sports facilities like football, basketball, volleyball, kabbadi, chess and many more. Food is pretty good and canteen is kinda small but it has good hygiene.
Syllabus is upto date and teachers are not upto par. It is good but not the best. It can always improve. Though it has many clubs related to quiz, debate, racing, coding which will help students in their growth
It has placements but not 100 percent. Average placement is 3.12 lpa and highest placement offered was of 18 lpa by Amazon India. Placement team is not very effective in attracting companies. Though now with days this scenario is getting improved and one can see better placements in coming day.
Fees is not constant but it is around 1.1 lakh per year which is not so much. It surely has value for money with low fees and high facilities.
It is the place where you will find friends for life and this college worth coming. Seniors are very helpful and will guide you in case of confusion and career path.
It is good not the best.
College's infrastructure is outstanding. You wouldn't like to blink your eye even for a second if you are visiting this college for the very first time. It has perfect classrooms, laboratories, sports ground and dance classes too. The classes are very clean .
I am a student pursuing b.tech in ECE (2nd shift) . the teachers here are very good and supportive but being in the 2nd shift we don't get to pay much attention from our teachers. But if we want to get their full attention , we can get it by studying hard and get their attention.
Placements can be tough here . The average salary that was offered here was 3 lacs per annum . And the highest salary being 10 lacs (not in the software company). The placement process is easy and is pleasant fir us as the teachers are co-operative very much.
We can get our money's full worth here. Since the college is a private college, so it has a bit expensive fees but after we live our lives here for 4 long years, We will be realising that we lived the best parts of our lives here .
The campus life is awesome here. We can get our career placed in various departments , as the college provides us facility and support in almost every field whether it is dancing, singing or sports. The college's location is at a safe place and yes , it can handle emergencies too.
College infrastructure is quite good. Classrooms are spacious and all the laboratories , library and sports rooms are well maintained. College has no hostel facility. The food available in canteen is also hygienic.
I am Btech Computer Science student currently pursuing 3rd year. The faculty is supportive in academics field. Moreover the curriculum is provided updated by the faculty. The faculty helps you in clearing your doubts and you can even personally go to particular faculty for clearing your doubts.
Placements are moderate , nor too good nor too bad. Many companies visit the campus and recruit students.Students have to acquire skills and improve themselves for securing good placements. The highest salary package is around 9 lakhs and average is 3-4 lakhs.
The fees for Btech course is approximately between 3-4 lakhs.
The campus life is very smooth and enjoyable. One can enjoy it while studying. The campus is not too large in area but it is not too small. The only disadvantage the college had is about its location which is located near seelampur area.
Yes my college has all the necessary facilities and euipement. The college is well maintained. All the classrooms , labs etc are always clean. Each computer labs have atleast 30-40 computers and all are in working condition. The mechanical labs have all the tools in working condition , the college is always updated with all these thing . Also the college take care of proper hygiene . The college canteen is always clean and food is hygienic.
I am doing btech in ECE from my college. The ECE faculty is very good. The teachers are really good and they are very much supportive. The teachers helps student more to grow in there field. Yes my curriculum is always updated.
The placement quality has being good in my college but ofcourse it depends on the skills of the students. From this year a student from mechanical has get placed with a package of 15-17 lakh per annum. The avergae salary offered is around 3 lakh. All in all my college is very supportive in terms of placement.
My course cost me around 1lakh per annum. Yes i feel worth
No
In my opinion, ADGITM has a gigantic campus which is spread over a large area. My campus is the best after the main campus. The labs have all the necessary apparatus and the classrooms are well-maintained with smart technology installed to foster enhanced opportunities. The canteen is average though; the sports department lacks facilities and there is no proper playground or court stipulated for certain sports. The WiFi service is available but the connectivity is poor!
The curriculum followed by the university is essential but outdated, and it strictly needs revision to adapt to the advancements taken place in the past decade. Academic aspect is good and is always prioritized at the top, though no other extra-curricular activity is given due attention and consideration. The faculty is experienced and supportive. The teachers help students in their respective projects and are always approachable. But practical application of the concepts taught is limited.
The placement drive is conducted in the college, but there are few placement offers for B.tech graduates in the technology sector as compared to the non-technical sector. There are many reputed companies which visit the campus like Infosys is a mass recruiter. Other companies offering placements include Byju's, HCL etc. The average package is very low as it just ranges from 4-5 lacs per annum.
ADGITM is not a public college, hence it might not be affordable for all. My fees for a year is approximately 1 lac. The facilities do not commensurate to the fee charged by the college, as facilities do not just account for academics. So, I would recommend to go for a college which have more emphasis on practical approach. But it might be a last resort, as if a person is motivated and hard-working then he'll definitely land up in a good company, no matter the college.
The campus life is better than other engineering colleges as there are sessions day in and day out. Some or the other activity is going on throughout the year; the societies are active all the time, though they are educational societies. There is a placement cell which is established exclusively for guiding students for internships and jobs.
There is a cultural fest which is very renowned in the whole university. ADGITM is not good for people who are interested in sports, but a good option than other private colleges for B.Tech in other private universities.
Yes, my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms are pretty clean, labs are all well equipped, library mostly provides all the books and the sports facilities are also decent. There are no hostels in the college premises.
So I am studying mechanical and automation engineering here because I was always inclined towards this stream and the quality of teaching is good, the teachers are all pretty much qualified to answer all our queries. The curriculum is updated.
The quality of placements at my college have been decent. Vivo and other companies came in for the placement drive. Various students from various branches were placed in reputed companies. The average salary offered was around 3-4 LPA.
My course cost 96000/- annually.
Hey Aman,
If you want to take a drop year and prepare for a better college or join any lower tier college this year is and should be entirely your decision and let no one else take this decision for you.
However, how others as well as me (here) can help you is provide you with the pros and cons of the dilemma you're undergoing.
Now, to begin with your JEE percentile might not allow you to take admission in any of the top-tier colleges.
TRUE , but unlike many other aspirants you are clear in your goals that you want to pursue a career in CSE.
Most of us prefer top tier colleges just to be around the best brains and majorly to develop a perspective in life which may not be the case with you. Also a good score in JEE will not get you anywhere in life other than a good college, wherein also, your efforts will build your future.
Also, I would like to add, in the software industry your skills are given more preference to the college you've done your graduation from and it often happens that students from a lower tier college ends up getting more paid.
This being said, it is also true, that a top tier college gives you peers being around whom helps you develop and hone your skills in a symbiotic manner and this makes you a better person in life. Not to forget the alumni network you become a part of, might also come in handy in several occasions.
Also resume shortlisting may have some effect over others (belonging from a lower tier college), but do remember its your skills that you develop in these 4 years or over time that will take you further in life.
Now, its entirely your decision what you want to do. You know yourself better than anyone else and therefore do retrospect and come out with the most logical decision you feel is correct.
All the best :)
