The infrastructure is good the class are well lit and we'll ventilated . WiFi is available which helps in gathering information and download software used in the course .The library has a good number of books and is open till 11:00pm which help at times alot .The classes are enabled with smart boards which makes learning Easy !!
The quality of teaching is good the teachers are polite all doubts are cleared well. Low preforming students are supported so that they excel in the exams.A good number of paper/exam are conducted before end sem this helps to increase the pointers.
A good number of companies visit the college .The placement cell trains the Students in various phases of placement like aptitude , group descision and interview . The placement process is also easy and pleasant.
The annual fees is around 1,40,000 ₹ which is worth the kind of teaching methodology used . The college gives a good impression about how the situation in the industry so it helps a lot.
Campus Life is good there are a good number of clubs in which one can engage and inculcate various values . BAJA ,ISHREA ,AIDL are a few of them
The college has app equipment for conducting experiments with good space .so that students can conduct experiment peacefully Libraries have many reference books of all subjects WiFi is available for project work. living spaces are clean and non working staff keep the floor hygienic. Food Available is okay in canteens
I am studying Mechanical Engineering there and all the teaching staff are excellent in their profession. the college follows Mumbai university pattern , the college is NAAC and NBA accredited for mechanical engineering . Although the teachers are strict regarding submission but it is for the improvement of the students.
Quality of Placement are good . You will get placed between 3 lac-12 Lac per annum. Many reputed companies like L&T , Godrej & Boyce , Jacobs etc come for placement Average salary offered was 4.5 lac p.a. Placement have aptitudes test and interview round
College fees is Rs 1,40,000/year but that is fully worth it .The college gives you full experience of becoming a successful engineer and you will definitely love the transformation this college education will do on your life
There are many college clubs like MESA , ISHRAE,SAE ,BAJA where students can participate and show off their skills , it's a bit hectic to manage that , but once you learn there's no turning back
I would like to say that I loved my 4 years at this college and would tell people to join this college for it will increase your chances of getting successful in your career
College has good infrastructure . It has professional Labs high quality equipment . High configuration computers with high speed internet. It has good playground . A professional football ground whose entry fees is taken. Canteen food is healthy and good.
Education is best in agnels , Teachers are very serious when it comes to education , updated syllabus is referred. Every step is taken care to make you pass with good marks . On compromise is taken in education.
About 80. 0% of students are placed and deserving student will definitely get placed . Placement is also good in this college in Navi Mumbai . Mostly some repeated companies takes students every year in good quantity
Good campus life with fest and sports activity is conducted every year . College life is good and little hardworking.
It's a good college and after graduation you will be industry ready with all professional qualities
Yes the college has good infrastructure. It might not be the best but the labs are well equipped. The classrooms have a normal chalk and board with no fancy technology. The area is clean and the canteen food is hygienic.
The quality is good. The teachers make sure that every child is studying and can go to extreme measures to ensure that. the curriculum however is not quite updated. The recent technologies are not added either.
The placements are good. Most of the IT and comps students get placed. The highest package is 12 lpa. The average salary is 3 to 4 lpa. Teachers and placement coordinators help in the placement process.
FCRIT has great infrastructure with Free Hogh Speed Wifi on each floor for better connectivity. Projector are also used for presentation style teaching in lectures. And overall all the infrastructure of college is well maintained.
In FCRIT, Teaching staff is always ready woth one or the other way of teaching even in the Pandemic. And submissions and test are taken punctually beforehand of end sem examinations for better scores/grades.
In terms of placements, FCRIT was known for 100% placements, but every year it is a challenge for Mechanical Engineering Students due to decreasing placement rates, but other branches have great placements of packages upto 90lakhs per annum.
The One Year (2 Semesters) Course could cost from 80k-150k depending on the branch. And in terms of value for money, it has few ups and downs like, college charges extra for stationery yearly for journals and drafters etc.
Being a Mechanical Engineering Student in FCRIT is both amazing and hectic thing. Since college takes their own tests and keeps submission dates early than other colleges, but at the end it benefits students of FCRIT because it provides a long Study leave for Examinations at the end.
Other than education, FCRIT is also leaning towards co-curricular amd extra-curricular activities because of enthusiastic students of new batches which are always participating in events and competitions.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure which would aid students. The campus is very well maintained. The main building houses a badminton court, which the students are permitted to use after paying a decent fee. The main building also features CIBA which is a platform for young entrepreneurs, helping them to propel their start-ups. The classrooms are well equipped, and well maintained, and the library also houses all necessary books. The canteen is hygienic, though not the best.
I've always wanted to learn how things function- which is the sole reason why I decided to venture into Mechanical engineering. The quality of education provided at FCRIT is top-notch, without doubt. There are however a few professors who present their material in a way that's difficult to comprehend at times. The curriculum has been almost the same for years, as per MU guidelines. The degree providers you with some amount of knowledge, but doesn't make you industry ready.
The college is visited by some really good companies for their placements- LTI, Thyssenkrupp, Carwale, TCS being just a few of them. Comps and IT usually see most of their students getting placed, with average packages of 5-6 Lacs. The highest package offered was 6.5 Lacs.
BE Mech costs about 1.2 Lacs annually. The college provides with the very best of everything, and hence the amount we pay feels worth while to me. However, there are areas that require improvements that hopefully will be brought about in the future.
The college has never really been known for its fests and cultural activities. There are however a number of clubs that one can join to explore the creative side of oneself. The professors are very approachable, overall. Suppory staff always are very helpful, and kind.
The college promotes an atmosphere of seriousness , which may not sit well with everybody. It is very necessary for students to adhere to a lot of rules when it comes to submissions of assignments and journals. All in all, this college provides a tough atmosphere, striving to create good engineers.
Infrastructure is state of the art. Well equipped laboratories and workshops. The sports centre is vast and supports many sports. The canteen serves food at appropriate rates with exceptional quality. The canteen however lacks the "college canteen" atmosphere.
As far as academics are concerned, the college is doing brilliantly well in the teaching and learning process. The college aces at preparing students for real life situations and problems. Professors focus at a very individual level and are driven to optimise the students curriculum.
Placement opportunities are offered to students with a cgpa of 6.75 and above. Companies like Godrej, L&T, shell, TCS, etc have been placing students. The range varies from 3 lakhs to around 12 lakhs.
The annual fee structure for a mechanical department is around 1.4 lakhs. Similar to most engineering colleges.
The students can engage in various activities over a wide range of clubs and cells. This gives the students a more practical approach to the curriculum. The clubs and cells are under the guidance of professors with a strong technical knowledge. The college is strict when rules are concerned, be it punctuality or behaviour. The college is located in an area, accessible to many services. The college fests, are over-controlled by the faculty.
The college is well equiped with all the necessary facilities and equipment. They have a good team of experienced lab assistants and technicians. The old college building contains the IT depatment and Humanities(first year students). The old building contains well ventilated classrooms and a two storey Library. The new building contains spacious classroom with smart board learning and all the laboratory with adequate lab equipments. free wifi in campus
I am a mechanical engineering student. The first year in this college is taken very seriously by the faculties since it is very difficult to cope up FE without punctuality and discipline. This helps in achieving good grades.Timely submission of assignments is must from faculty point of view.It reduces burden of last minute preparations. There will be weekly test of all the lab subject.Failing in that test would prove to be crucial. Although the rest of the years are a bit loose except the FE
There is an experienced team working in the pllacement cell .The placements quality is good as compared to others.COMPS batch gets almost 100% placed.GODREJ and L&T come for campus placements.TCS is the mass recruiter.Average salary package is 4-5L for COMPS and IT.
Annual fees taken in the College is around 1.2 to 1.5 lakh rupees. The Campus has been Acredited by NAAC. It provides good quality education. The college supports and funds various project like SAE BAJA ,AERO,Robotics club,IEEE etc.
The Campus life is not so appreciable at the moment. They conduct technical fest like etamax max to enhance the abilities of students in other walks of life. Although active participation in these events is less.Participation in fest is made compulsory .Bunking lecture for conducting programmes is not encouraged and is dealt strictly
One of the wellknown & A grade eng clg in navi mumbai commonly known as central jail of vashi. Clg is very strict& overdisciplined This clg will grant punctuality discipline & determination No doubt a jail for few student But if your motive is to gain knowledge and excel in academics than its a paradise Clg has excellent infrastructure the classroom are clean and spacious labs are wellmaintained with advanced equipment & good internet connectivity Clg has central library with tremendous variety.
The clg is best known for teaching methodology, the quality of teaching is excellent. Most of the concepts are covered through presentation and slides by our faculty so we can easily grasp and visualise the concepts. let's start with humanities this is dept you'll be under in your 1st yr they are strict on academics and attendance point, but it'll definitely help in comming sems. The electrical dept faculty is very good, cooperative, friendly, well educated & is ranked in top clgs in mumbai.
I'm in 2nd yr so not much aware abt placements but from reviews of seniors I think good companies do come with avrg pkg 3-4 lpa & it do vary according to capability of student which is pretty good as compared to other clgs in mumbai. placements for core branches are as good as it/comps TCS,Infosys, Boyce, capgemini,L&T,Siemens, godrej, ATOS,torrent power are regular recruiters Clg has huge reputation & is NBA accredited for all branches this year thus there are immense chances of better placements
The course fee per year is around 1.5 lakh, yess college is worth the fees.
Campus life is excellent campus crowd is very dedicated inspirational healthy & supportive. for real industrial exposure clg conducts industrial visit every sem which is helpful for student during entire course other than academics clg conducts placement lecture once or twice in week from 2nd yr onwards so that maxm students are placed other activities like robocon,BAJA,IEEE give lot of prac knowledge As it is a reputed institute student graduating from here will have an edge over other student
As a hostelite here's my review abt clg hostel Clg has hostel within campus There are 2 seperate buildings for male and female students. Girls hostel has bunker beds and is inconvenient if you are not used to it, hostelite has access to wifi, tv & other facilities like washing machine. Every Sunday we hostelite have to attend mass, kinda prayer. Unlike clg girls hostel has strict rules & regulations fees for hostel accommodation are 80-90k as fees are quite high so they try to provide their best
I would say the college doesn't have a huge campus but the existing infrastructure makes up for it with quality. First years are accommodated at an older building (which has average facilities) where the library (with a/c) is located. Rest of the years are accommodated at the new building (maybe 4 yrs old now) which is spacious and has all facilities such as smart boards and projectors along with fire safety and security cameras. No comments about the hostels as I haven't stayed there.
The MU syllabus isn't really up to date so while the content might be outdated in most cases, most of the professors do a great job of teaching. Their methods may be a bit old-school but marks are assured if you follow their guidance. So you may not be job ready 100% but you will build up enough of an intuition as to how to go about learning your job in the shortest amount of time possible with baseline training. All in all compared to other MU colleges, this quality is excellent.
For placements are again one of the best in MU owing to above average academics. But that doesn't mean everyone gets placed or everyone gets their dream package. Highest packages are for IT and Comps around (around 10 lakh tops) while for my course the average package is around 3-4 lakh. The college takes placement very seriously - We are given placement training in the form of aptitude quizzes from 2nd year onwards.
The cost per year is around 1.4 lakh INR - scholarship programs are available for students(both caste and economic)which work on refund basis. There are about 3 reserved seats for TFWS(tution fee waiver scheme) which can be applied for with an income certificate criteria. These costs are similar to other colleges in MU, but you definitely get better academics and placement chance here so I feel it's worth it here.
I have given this one an average but my friends would probably give it one star. That's because the focus on academics is too high. You are always under pressure of practical writeups, assignment tests, retests(yeah that's a thing here) along with early unit tests every semester. There are some clubs (robotics, AI, cyber security, dance and singing as well) but that's only if you can handle them along with the heavy academics. College location is pretty safe and transportation is accessible.
Bottom line advice : It's mostly all work and no play here. Some may call it discipline others call it torture. Some people find a way to enjoy and pay no mind to the system in place, others keep ranting about how miserable this campus life is. It depends on the person's mindset. Give a thought before joining for minimum regrets and frustration later on.
Hello Dear,
Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (CRCE), popularly known as Agnel Bandra, was founded in 1984. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and approved by the All India Council of Technology Education (AICTE). Started with a single course in Production Engineering with only 60 seats, CRCE now has 6 undergraduate programs under the engineering stream, 2 postgraduate programs and offers PhD in 2 subjects. Lowest and Highest palcement was 3.3 Lakh to 16.5 lakh.
Father Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT), Navi Mumbai established in the year 1996. FCRIT Vashi is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra State. Placement in CSE branch is decent in this college.
From the above comparison we can say that Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering is slightly better than Father Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology.
Good Luck
