Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, provides a full-time Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course which is offered by the GBCM Dehradun. The course spans a duration of 5.5 years. This comprehensive program includes four and a half years of structured coursework, followed by a mandatory one-year rotatory internship. Notably, this program is accredited and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

The HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University will conduct counselling sessions after the declaration of the NEET-UG results for MBBS/BDS admissions across the medical/dental colleges in Uttarakhand. The counselling will be conducted in online mode. The counselling session will be comprised of a choice filling, seat allotment and fee payment. Candidates should bring their original documents for verification in the college after the seat allotment.
GBCM MBBS seat intake is 150 per annum for the MBBS course. This includes both government and management quota seats.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a paper-pencil-based test (PBT) of 3 hours and 20 minutes duration. The paper has 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects, out of which only 180 are to be attempted. Each correct answer carries 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
Candidates must have passed a 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks from a recognised board. Additionally, candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG examination.
Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya admission is based on performance in the NEET-UG examination. Therefore, students cannot get direct admission to the college without qualifying for the NEET examination.
