For BAMS

3. Get registered in the state-level counseling process (since the institute is in Gujarat).
4. Select GJ Patel Institute of Ayurvedic Studies and Research during the counseling process.
5. If seat is allotted, appear at the institute for document verification and admission procedure.
For MD Ayurveda Medicine and MD Ayurveda Panchakarma:
1. Take the AIAPGET exam.
2. Get through AIAPGET with the minimum cut-off score.
3. Apply for All India AYUSH PG Counselling or state PG AYUSH counselling, as the case may be.
4. Choose GJ Patel Institute and the chosen PG course in counselling.
5. On selection, get through the admission process in the institute, e.g., document verification and payment of fee.
Degree wise Admission Process
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery):
BAMS course from GJ Patel Institute of Ayurvedic Studies and Research is an integrated undergraduate degree in Ayurvedic medicine. Admission to this course is on the basis of the performance of the student in the NEET exam. The institute offers a total of 100 seats for the course of BAMS. Suitable students must pass their 10+2 courses with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as principle subjects.
MD Ayurveda Medicine
Admission to MD Ayurveda Medicine is through the AIAPGET. 6 seats are offered under this postgraduate course. The candidate should have passed BAMS from any recognized university to be eligible for admission into this course. Admission is based on the AIAPGET rank and can have extra requirements as per the institute.
Just like MD Ayurveda Medicine, admission into MD Ayurveda Panchakarma too depends on performance in AIAPGET. 6 seats also have the special postgraduate course. Eligibility involves a degree of BAMS from a reputed university. The procedure for admission is according to All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test guidelines.
