GCET Jammu Facilities
Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu provides ample facilities for the students to make their college life easy. Hostels, library, sports, cafeteria, laboratories are some of the GCET Jammu facilities. GCET Jammu has separate hostels for boys and girls with the necessary facilities for the students. The college has a library with a varied collection of books, journals, etc. Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu facilities also include indoor and outdoor sports such as volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc. A cafeteria is also available for the students that provide nutritious food to students. Laboratories and lecture halls are also available for the students for a better learning experience. GCET, Jammu provides separate accommodation facilities to the girls students. Warden is available to take care of the students. All the necessary facilities are provided to the students such as a table and a chair, water cooler, geysers, etc.
- Medical/Hospital
Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu has a health centre inside the campus with first aid facilities.
- Library
Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu library has a varied collection of books, thesis, newspapers and journals. Students can visit the library during their free time and can enjoy reading.
- Sports
GECT, Jammu facilities include several indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students such as football, basketball, table tennis, carrom, cricket, etc.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has well-equipped computer systems with the latest software and hardware installed in them. Internet facility is also available for the students and staff.
- Cafeteria
The college has a cafeteria that serves healthy and hygienic to students, staff and faculty members. It is the best place for the students to enjoy their meals and to spend leisure time with their friends.
- Transport Facility
A transport facility is available for the students and staff so that they can travel between the college and the city. Buses ply to all the nearby locations in the city.
- Laboratories

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is pretty average. It is built on large acres of land and there is just so much left untouched. The building's exteriors are good but the walls inside are just average with a lot of wear and tear in almost all the places. There are multiple labs for everything required, but the computers are slow.

College Infrastructure
In my college laboratories are well maintained and clean. There are smart boards present in every class. Food in canteen is not that much hygienic. Network here is poor. Sports centre is not so good. Hostels are maintained.

College Infrastructure
In my college facilities are available. Sports equipments are not so good. Students bring their own equipments to play. Smart boards are also present in the classroom. Libraries and laboratiries are well maintained.

As of now, the exact number of applicants for JKCET 2025 has not been publicly disclosed.
For admission to CSE program at the GCET, Jammu, a rank within top 500 in JKCET is advisable ( above 80% in the examination )

since you have not mentioned your category, I am considering you as a Unreserved or GENERAL Category Student. Looking at the previous year cutoff for GCET Jammu for JKCET Exam, you have decent chances to get Civil Branch in GCET Jammu.
The Cutoff for various branch as per previous year Cutoff in GCET jammu for JKCET is as follows :
Civil - upto 200
Electrical-upto 350
Mech , E&C - upto 600
CSE - upto 800
Further, please note that the above mentioned prediction is solely based on the previous year JKCET cutoff and it may vary for this year as the cutoff keeps varying every year. The JKCET cutoff depends on various factors like : previous year cutoff, number of aspirants appearing, etc.
