The college infrastructure is pretty average. It is built on large acres of land and there is just so much left untouched. The building's exteriors are good but the walls inside are just average with a lot of wear and tear in almost all the places. There are multiple labs for everything required, but the computers are slow.
I'm studying electrical engineering. The teachers are pretty great and quite knowledgeable. And very helpful. The attendance policy is quite harsh. The curriculum has been updated, but I believe more changes can be made regarding the assignment policy, etc. As I'm studying a core subject I don't think the study makes me job-ready, it just makes me more able to learn at a job. I am taught the basics but practical work is quite less.
The placements are pretty average, but that is more due to the unwillingness of students to take part in them, than the college. Most students studying here are focused on government jobs and hence they do not partake in placements at all, but those who do get pretty good deals.
Per year it costs me about 32000. And if I include all the other expenses the most will be 40000. for the money I pay the college is amazing and expecting anything more is plain stupid.
I love my college very much, and it has taught me so many new things. The fest organized here is the best part here along with the picnics. The students are good, the teachers very helpful and friendly, and the support staff is extremely sweet. It is quite safe and as a girl I've never felt uncomfortable here.
In my college laboratories are well maintained and clean. There are smart boards present in every class. Food in canteen is not that much hygienic. Network here is poor. Sports centre is not so good. Hostels are maintained.
I am currently pursuing my btech in computer science engineering and currently is in second year. The quality of teaching is very good. Curriculum is updated. Developments are going on. What i study here makes me job ready.
In my college the placement section is poor. Very low percentage of students are placed here with a very low salary offered. But overall our college is supportive in every way . But still placements are not so good.
In my college facilities are available. Sports equipments are not so good. Students bring their own equipments to play. Smart boards are also present in the classroom. Libraries and laboratiries are well maintained.
I am studying computer engineering. In my college the quality of teaching is brilliant. Oue staff updates the curriculum is updated on regular basis. And i am pretty sure that what I study here us job oriented.
In my college the quality of placements is very low. Only up to four percentage of students are placed from our college every year. The salaries offered by the companies are up to one lakh. But all the above our college is supportive.
My college is at the outskirts so there are bushes , trees all around. Libraries are well maintained. No sports facility at all if students wants to play they bring their own equipment as the college do not provide.
In my college the quality of teaching is excellent. Professors are always present here yo solve the problems of the students. They are very supportive to the students The curriculum is updated at the regular basis.
Here placements section is not so good. Almost about two percent of students are placed. last year only four students of computer branch were placed and only two student of electronics and communication were placed.
My college has good quality infrastructure, hostels and libraries are well maintained and cleaned. The food in the canteen is somewhat ok not so good. Other than this my college is the best in the area. Smart boards are also present here.
In my college the teaching quality is outstanding. The management updates the curriculum regularly. All departments are working hard for the development. Yes it is true that what we study here makes me job ready.
In my college placement are just somewhat ok only 5 to 11 percent of children are placed. I am still in second year but heard that average salary offered is upto 1 lac. But our college is very supportive to us.
Our college has all equipment, facilities available. Classrooms are cleaned regularly. There are smart boards also present in the classroom. Hostels also have facilities. Food here is just ok ok. Living spaces clean.
I am pursuing my btech in comuputer science because it is my passion. In GCET JAMMU, the quality of teaching is outstanding. Professors here give their full efforts and support to the students. The curriculum is updated regularly.
Here placement is not so good. The percentage of students placed is 11 percent may be. The average salary offered is upto 1 lac maybe. As I am still in second year so I know only this much about the placement cell here.
My college campus is best.
My College GCET JAMMU has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Here library contains all kinds of study materials also the laboratories are clean and have necessary equipments. Living Spaces are clean and the food here is ok.
I am studying here computer engineering as I was eager to learn about programming. Here the quality of teaching is excellent. The curriculum is updated. Here professors provides excellent study materials and are always ready to help the students. And here what I study makes me job ready.
Big IT companies have hired many of our campus students. Here the package goes up 2 to 3 lacs. According to me here Placements are somewhat good. Here some companies do visited but their package was just ok. But our college is always supportive to us.
I feel that my money is getting worth because here teaching is excellent, staff is supportive, good maintenance etc.
My campus life till now was best. There were many programs held in our college where we were engaged. Our college is at outskirts but it is safe as the transport facilities are available.
I just want to add that from my point of view GCET JAMMU is best.
